Make sure to create a VNYL account (free) before proceeding. https://my.vnyl.org Unboxing Your TRNTBL comes ready to plug and play with minimal setup. You'll need to pair it to the desired speaker, but before you do, let's make sure you've got it ready. The Platter The platter should rest on the center spindle. There is a rubber belt that wraps around the inner side of the platter and attaches to the motor. Knobs TRNTBL has two knobs. Before plugging the unit into the power outlet, make sure that both knobs are in the full counterclockwise (off) position. Bottom knob must be in the off position until you've completed the setup process.. Counterweight Make sure the bright gold counter weight at the back of the tone arm sits at approximately the first notch. Cartridge Your TRNTBL comes with a pre-install phono cartridge.     Beautiful Inconvenience
    This turntable is absolutely beautiful, there’s no denying that. But that’s all it is. If you don’t use it frequently enough it will disconnect from your Bluetooth/Sonos speaker. To reconnect, you have to uninstall this app, unplug the turntable, reinstall the app, plug the turntable back in, wait for at least 2 minutes and then reconnect to the turntable through the app before you can finally attempt to connect to your Bluetooth/Sonos speaker again. I’ve had to do this nearly every time I’ve used it. Honestly it prevents me from listening to vinyl most of the time. They say any Bluetooth speaker will work, not just Sonos, though they strongly recommend Sonos. I suppose any Bluetooth speaker with an app might work. I purchased a $500 Marshall speaker that has no app. I had to repeat the steps above before every use. Luckily TRNTBL sent me a free Sonos Play:1 because it took almost 2 years to receive the turntable itself. It got to the point that I told them I wanted my money back and suddenly, as if by magic, I was offered a free Sonos speaker and my turntable was shipped within the week. It’s been nothing but a hassle since. This review is pointless since by the time anyone will be reading this you’ll have already received your TRNTBL and will only be on the AppStore for this app because you need it to set up your device. Oh well, at least your turntable is beautiful. Show more

    Do Not Buy
    This is the most frustrating piece of electronics I have ever bought. The app will not find my Sonos speaker. When will you update the app so that it works?

    Do not buy
    $500 paper weight. It’s beautiful and that’s where it stops. App is crap, customer service is a joke, it takes you hours to set up (even with the help of a tech...and that’s after you schedule an appointment with a tech). If you don’t use it every other day, it’s disconnected and your horror story starts back over. So very disappointed in this product. Had high hopes for it. Show more

    Terrible
    This is the single worst purchase I have ever made. It simply does not work. Will never connect to the app or my Sonos speaker. Do not buy it, do not trust them to fix anything. Show more

    Do not Buy
    I am stuck with a 600 dollar turntable which cannot be setup. There is no customer support.

    Pure garbage
    Do not buy this turntable. It simply doesn’t work. The app is absolute trash. It doesn’t connect, won’t find the player, etc. Also, they will try to charge you a 10% “restocking fee” if you return their inoperable turntables. Don’t get the app. Don’t get the turntable. Show more

    Wildly frustrating experience
    I’ve followed all the steps and troubleshooting tips sent by Jacquelyn several times. I can’t connect. After a very delayed delivery it arrives with no manual and there’s no real IT support. This product is great in theory and terrible on a practical level. Show more

    App doesn’t work
    The only thing worse than the turntable is the app. It is essentially a paper weight with an equally useless app.
