Apple Watch often turns off the screen to keep the battery and display life.
And any Apps including "Beat on Wrist" also stop at the same time.
So many developer have been tried to resolve this problem. Unfortunately, nobody can fix but Apple.(at spring 2016)
The other function of Apple Watch is still limited. To keep working "Beat on Wrist" without screen sleep, please see my support page.
