    Soundform connect
    Have the Soundform connect to make some old outdoor speakers Airplay compatible. Love it when it works, but it’s been “not responding“ a lot lately and I have to keep resetting the device Show more

    Can improve on human design guidelines
    The App does what it claims, no more, no less. Setup the speaker and Integrates the speaker with Alexa. After the speaker setup, Airplay works as expected through music apps like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. However, the app needs to improve on its UI design with human interface design guidelines for iOS. Show more

    Needs an EQ
    The speaker is good but needs an equalizer setting or at least sound profiles such as vocal, dance, acoustic, etc. Customizing these sound profiles with full EQ options can be for future but basic sound profiles are needed Asap. Pls add!! Overall, I had no issues connecting and pairing on my wifi. After setup I was quickly able to play from iPhone and also from the computer with no additional steps since airplay picked up instantly. The Youtube website has a cast button and it worked as soon as I tried it the first time. Show more

    Couldn’t connect through the app
    Could only connect straight to Bluetooth so none of the features are usable

    Simply a bad user experience.
    Even though Belkin publishes firmware updates for their Soundform products, this app doesn’t let you update the firmware. Attempts to find a Soundform Elite, but I have a Soundform Connect, which the release notes says this app supports. It appears to be a white label app not developed by Belkin but licensed to them, so it’s not surprising that it’s integration to their hardware is spotty at best. Show more

    AirPlay2
    It might be capable of using AirPlay2 but good luck actually setting it up. The app was written by a teenager, never tested. The instructions are worse. I’m yet to actually play a song on this because of this so I can’t speak to sound quality. As another use said, you can’t add a device if you already have a SoundForm product without unplugging the other one. As an electrical engineer with extensive software experience, this is total amateur level of work you’d not expect from a well known company. Particularly at the price point. Show more

    Marginally good
    Worked fine for a while, then not. I have a Soundform connect, using it with iPhone 13 Pro Max running the latest iOS. Initial connection was quick and easy. I’m trying to use it with a HomePod via Airplay 2. I *used to* be able to play through both HomePod and Soundform at the same time. No longer. I’ve rebooted the phone, reset the Soundform, and as others have said, it only shows me the Elite now. Belkin, you’re tarnishing a good reputation here. Show more
