    THIS is the one you want.
    Other BPM Detectors don’t really detect anything. They simply require you to physically tap along to the beat to determine the beats per minute. THIS app is the one you have been searching for. It listens to the music and provides the BPM. Great for DJs and anyone who wants to create their own bpm specific workout music. Works with the Shazam app that identifies any song in seconds. 5 Stars! Show more

    Easy and somewhat accurate
    I use this to glean the bpm of records I plan to mix for dj sets. Works pretty well for standard stuff, however it’s kinda thrown off by more intricate beats or stuff that isn’t a standard time signature. Either way, totally worth the $0 spent and keeps me from using my brain. Show more

    Can’t listen while playing music
    The whole point I paid the subscription is it made it seem like I would be able to find the BPM of a track I was playing off my phone, but it cuts the music out when it starts listening. Shazam and Instagram don’t have this problem, but I guess this app can’t use the mic and the audio output at the same time. Wish I could get my $1 back Show more

    Always with these apps you have to at least snap your fingers to the beat. There’s no such thing as AI. You need a human to understand music. How is this supposed to understand music in 5/4 time signature or 7/8 time signature? Indian music? Javanese gamelan? Show more

    This app is garbage. I’ve used it multiple times and it always registers the BPM 150+. So I turned on the drum machine, the beat was set at a tempo of 74, I then summoned the App, and again it registered the beat at 150. ? Show more
