Breath Player is designed to help you immerse yourself into your breath so you can experience the full benefits of mindful breathing, the most innovative way to meditate. Take a few minutes out of your day and just breathe. Mindful breathing helps to reduce anxiety, extinguish negative thoughts and even reduce pain. Breath Player locks you in on your breath and anchors you into the present, wherever you are and whenever you need it most. Designed to be used by itself or with your preferred guided meditation app or podcast. With Breath Player you can create your own breathing account and level up as you go. Track your daily streaks, and count your breaths along with HealthKit and mindful minutes integration. Breath Player allows you to Input your breath in a variety of ways to find what works best for you. You can input your breath via tap, slider, or belly mode. You can also select from an ever-growing number of customizable sound and music experiences including thunderstorms, wind, ocean waves, treetops, waterfalls, binaural spaceships, counting with pianos, clocks, and many more. Hear Ocean Waves crash and pianos play up and down with the rise and fall of your breath. WHAT IS MINDFUL BREATHING? Focus on your breath. While you do this, thoughts will enter your mind, and focus will shift away from your breath. When this happens, return your focus back to the breath. Repeat. This is mindful breathing. And Breath Player makes mindful breathing easier, more engaging and effective. WHY BREATH PLAYER? Breath Player helps you focus on your breath as it is. Most breathing apps are ‘breath followers,' following a cue that tells you when to inhale and when to exhale. With Breath Player, you're leading the way, knowing that your breath doesn’t have a pre-determined pattern, a preset rate, or even a language. As long as you’re breathing slow and deep, your breath is what it is. Additionally, Breath Player uses a unique non-linear audio immersion engine that provides a never-ending, evolving, non-looping real-time interactive audio environment. SUGGESTED USES: Sometimes it’s really hard to take a few breaths. Maybe there’s a lot of noise outside our mind - from around you, your office, or your commute. Maybe there’s even more noise coming from inside your mind. Either way, Breath Player uses music and your breath to help drown that noise. MEDITATE: Take 15-50 or more breaths as part of your practice. SLEEP: Help quiet your mind by taking 20 or more breaths before bed. CALM DOWN: Take 5 breaths on a crowded elevator. RECHARGE: Take 20 breaths for an oxygen pick-me up. DE-STRESS: Take as many breaths as you need, whenever you need it. FOCUS: Prepare for an exam as you take 30 breaths before class. STUDY: Take 10 breaths to clear your mind before a big exam or meeting. READ: Let the music play with the slider up to set a focused ambiance. RELAX: Let the music play with the slider down for relaxing ambiance. NOISE: Choose an experience and let it play endlessly for use as background noise. FEATURES AND OPTIONS: Set reminders and customize existing reminders Interactive audio with real-time effects Non-Linear and procedural audio for less repetition Now Featuring three input methods: Tap mode, Belly mode and Slider mode Create an account Breath accompaniment options can be turned on or off for a more customizable experience Breath counter available to tally breaths New experiences added regularly Best with headphones MAKE A COMMITMENT TO YOUR BREATH: Breath Player offers a 7 day free trial, then two auto-renewing subscription options for unlimited access to all experiences: $3.99 per month $29.99 per year: Save 25% off the Monthly Subscription by signing up for an annual plan. Wonderful!
I really love the app, and it’s really helped me to calm down when I’m most in need. One thing I would enjoy is if I could use it while laying down, which doesn’t seem to work, but listening to the audio has really helped me to sleep and focus. Show more
