Experience your music library in a new way. When connected to an AppRadio Mode compatible in-dash multimedia receiver, Pioneer CarMediaPlayer allows you to swipe, drag, and directly touch the desired artist, song, album, podcast, audiobook, and video in your library from the larger in-dash touchscreen. CarMediaPlayer also makes it easy to find what you're looking for with Alphabet Search and Album View functions. For your safety, the viewing of video content with this application while connected to a compatible Pioneer multimedia receiver is only available when the vehicle is stopped and the parking brake is engaged. Additional information regarding AppRadio device and app compatibility can be found at www.pioneerelectronics.com/AppRadioMode Not compatible with AppRadio One Pioneer products. Please use the AppRadioLIVE app for Media playback instead. To users of iOS 10: When you delete the built-in Music app, local music playback will not be possible. If you have deleted the built-in Music app, go to the App Store to restore the app to enable local music playback.

    Worthless since update.
    The most recent update crashes my iPod. Can’t use it at all with the AppRadio.

    Doesn’t sync play location with phone
    The touch interface doesn’t interpret touches very well, so whenever I tried to scroll up and down it kept thinking I want to click. Then there’s the biggest complain I have, which is the play location doesn’t sync with the phone, so if I am listening to a Podcast and got out of the car half way, the Podcast app does’t know the last played position. I can understand why this behavior exist, but what’s weird is that whenever I launch CarMediaPlayer again and want to continue my Podcast, it started all the way from the beginning. Show more

    Never worked
    App has never worked on any phone I have had. From the iPhone 4 to the 6s. Useless app.
