Chord Organ

Screenshots

Finally you can turn your iPad into a classic vintage Chord Organ. We painstakingly sampled the sound from every key and button of an authentic 1960’s electric chord organ to bring this timeless instrument to your device. Play twelve chords with one hand while playing melodies on up to four octaves with the other, just like the real thing. An octave up/down toggle switch lets you access the higher octaves on the keyboard. Unlike its ancestors, Chord Organ is compatible with Inter-App Audio and Audiobus so you can record directly into GarageBand, Loopy HD, or any other compatible apps. It also has MIDI support built in for use with your favorite iOS MIDI controllers or sequencers and can be used as a Wi-Fi midi controller. Features: • iOS 8 Ready • Inter-App Audio Support out of the box for use with Garageband and other IAA-enabled apps. • Audiobus Support (requires the Audiobus app, a separate purchase. See http://audiob.us for more info) • Core MIDI enabled • 12 Chord keys for major and minor chords of Bb, F, C, G, D and A. • 29 keys of melody • Octave toggle switch to access even higher octaves

    Childhood Haunting
I had one of these organs in my basement growing up, and as far as I can recall this sounds exactly the same. The real thing is rotting in a landfill somewhere, but for $3 I can try to go back in time & learn to play music before my late 20's (or something?). Show more

    You gotta love this organ
I have a 45 year old Magnus Chord Organ that still works perfectly. I saw this app and I immediately purchased it. I compared the app to the actual organ and I must say this: these developers recreated that wonderful little organ perfectly in every detail. Even if you're not familiar with this organ, get it anyway! Because it's easy and a lot of fun to play. And, I gotta say, it's really nice to see an app done so well. Show more

    Bravo!
This is what iOS music is all about. Grab a copy and see what I mean. Beautifully done. :-)

    Perfect update!
Overall, this is a great chord organ emulator. Plays so well, captures the sound perfectly. I just opened this app for the first time since updating to iOS 8, and thought that it can really use an update. When I open the app store, the update was there waiting for me. Thanks for being timely and for providing a great update. Show more

    Cute and realistic
My first Emenee chord organ is back! Might have been nice to have the chords on the left of the keyboard instead of on top but still playable. And it has Audiobus! Don't know what I'll do with this app but I'll think of something. Silly but cool. Show more

    Well done!
A well done emulation of a chord organ. Very reedy tone.

    Nice Job!
Wow! This sounds exactly like the chord organ we had in our basement when I was a kid. Really nice job!
