Start by selecting the song that you wish to play; they are 10 medieval christian instrumental songs in total, the first 5 are completely free, and were created to relax you in various situations. ** 10 Songs – The Best Famous Gregorian Chants Selection: 1. Dei Gloriam 2. Animus Animae 3. Alma Mater 4. Vis Vires 5. Ego te Absolvo 6. Veni, Vidi, Vici 7. Ars Amandi 8. Virtus Fortunae 9. Modus Vivendi 10. Sine Die Relax even more by adding special soft sounds of nature to your gregorian chanting. You will have a selection of 5 natural sounds from which to create a mystic atmosphere.     I would give it more stars if the controls worked
    I cannot get the app out of repeating a single song and the only way I can forward through the songs is to swipe up and use my iphone's shortcut to forward to another piece. This would be brilliant if the controls actually worked. Sadly it falls way short of basic operation and of expectations. Show more

    Would LOVE and support it if it worked
    Nothing works except the play button. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it but to not avail. Please repair.

    I love this
    2020, Update to my old 5-star review (below)- I tried the new update today and am unhappy with it. The screen is now a big, unnecessary glowing cross (why not just fade to dark and save battery?). Also, a bunch of cheap ambient sounds were added... they are terrible because they are short and I can hear them loop. The original sounds were better, imo... although it’s possible the original ones are still there, I’m unsure. I use this app about an hour every single day for years. I prefer the old interface, where when a song was playing you would see a gorgeous little picture, not some big yellow cross! 2018– I found this app accidentally while searching for something else, and I love it. I light a candle and turn off the lights while taking a shower and listen to this on my bluetooth speaker... it is so relaxing, it feels like I’m showering off in some medieval keep. 5 stars, great mood relaxer and the sound quality is also very good.     Not true Gregorian chants
    At least for the free version, may be soothing for some listeners but irritating, with some background noise and jazz style music arrangements in background. Modernized and stylized, not pleasing like the mysterious, true original chants are. Like the difference between a beautiful a capella and the same song with discordant music in the background.     Not what I wanted
    The selections on this app are all accompanied by music! Not true gregorian chant. If you want the real thing unaccompanied by guitar and chimey sounds, you may want to look elsewhere. Show more

    Annoying Women during recording
    There appears to be two women in the background who are whispering, laughing, taking deep sighs and growing weary of the repetition of the chants. If the didn’t want to be a part of the recording...move on. This should be re-recorded without the Peanut Gallery. The peace was being disrupted by their lack of respect to place this on an app. Show more

    Music's beautiful but static
    The music is just beautiful but each song is filled with a background of static. I wanted to purchase it with hopes that the paid version would have no static, but I didn't want to take the risk. Show more

    AMAZING!!
    This app is AMAZING!!!!! I haven't even had this app for an hour and I'm obsessed. There is a nice variety of music, and the option to add the sound of rain water. You can use the rest of your phone or even use the lock screen and this app will still play music! It doesn't require any wifi, either! Absolutely wonderful! 20 out of 10 stars!!! Show more
