Not just a Toy Synthesizer. Good for make noise. Tweaking knobs is really fun! Double-tap to adjust the knob. - Included: 2 Oscillators, LPF, Delay effector, Ribbon controller - Not included: Envelope Generator - The pitch changes when you tweak Delay Time. - Also acts as a effector. - Audio Unit v3 is supported. - Audiobus is supported. - Inter-App Audio is supported. Attention: You must use either "Instrument" or "Effector" when you connect it via Audiobus or Inter-App Audio. Also Launching the app may be necessary after connection if you use iOS 12.4. Try reducing PEAK or setting FEEDBACK to zero when the sound does not stop or is silent. Delay is not turned off even if TIME is zero. Instead set FEEDBACK to zero.
What’s New
Added Slow LPF function. You can turn off auto detection when learning MIDI CC. Other fixes.

    Useful as effects
Fun to play with as synths, really nice quick and dirty delay to throw in an AUv3 effects chain too! I’ve never played with a real monotron but these seem like good imitations with better sound quality. Great fun! Show more

    great for the price
This is a super fun set of things for cheap. Definitely sounds like the devices it is modeled after but then has numerous additional abilities. happy purchase

    Another killer app from KQ
Nicely done! Sounds great and very nasty when pushed! Love it! Working great in NanoStudio 2.

    Monotrons without the noisy output
I have owned all 3 monotrons, but am most familiar with the Delay. This app immediately captures the spirit and vibe of each monotron, and actually sounds pretty close to the hardware. The Deluxe model is cool because it essentially combines all 3 models and adds a few more features. What’s even cooler is you can create a sound using one of the monotron models, switch to Deluxe, and the sound you create will translate over so you can push that sound even further using the additional features of the Deluxe. This app is great if you want any or all of the monotrons without spending the money for the hardware, especially since you can’t buy the original one new anymore. Plus with this app, you can control all of them via midi, which means you can even play the Delay chromatically. Two things worth mentioning are: you can only use this properly as an effector in Cubasis on audio tracks. Otherwise, you’ll trigger both the midi instrument and the Unotone when you play. A workaround is to freeze the midi, and then put the Unotone on the frozen track. Also, sweeping the Delay time knob quickly to the right from the left doesn’t produce the same effect as on the hardware; it doesn’t make that explosive crashing sound. That being said, I think for the price this app is completely worth it. There’s plenty of fun to be had with these synths. I honestly have no real complaint. Another great app from KQ! Show more

Who needs a monotron when you can have these?
While I never played the real thing, these things sound just as wild as what I heard in videos! The waves sound great and have little aliasing, and the filter is so squelchy. Try processing them through FX and make a track with them! Show more

    Killer Synth Cheese
This is so cool. It creates lo fi cheesy synth sounds like toy synthesizers are supposed to. Except these are high quality lo fi synth sounds that when fed into a sequencer come out as completely legitimate killer synth tracks that don’t sound cheap but definitely sound lo fi and cheesy in the best possible way. Seriously rockin toy synth. Show more

    Right, just a toy.
Cheesie sounds. No note sustain and why not a filter envelope. Basically a waste of money. Deleted
