    Absolute trash
Did several tests, using a keyboard. Recording was easy and clear. I literally played C-D-E-F-G, just a quarter note each. The transcript was garbled load of nonsensical garbage! Random notes, lots of 64th rests, literally would come out as: (64th rest) (8th note C) (8th rest) (64th C) -!: so on, a mess of that before even getting to the D. Doesn’t work even a little bit. Not at all. Nope. Should be reported as a scam. Show more

    Complete Fail
Utterly useless at least for sung melodies. Fails to recognize about 90% of notes. Also, lacks any discretization capability to avoid profusion of 64th notes…

Only records by microphone and saves in app the audio
Doesn’t do what description says. It does very easily use microphone on phone just tap to record and it collects the sound, you hit button when done. You can save it and name it. But it doesn’t have any sort of music notation transcription as described. It says it will save written music of the audio in pdf file? Nope. First you can only play back and yes hear recording in your scripts list. But there is NOTHING ABOUT MUSICAL NOTE SCRIPTION VIEWABILITY. So since it mentioned it would save to pdf file written music for the audio, I used the share which then prompts you to enter where to email it to, with a pdf attachment of your chosen script…. I emailed it to myself. Opened the pdf file attached. Was there a pdf of musical transcription? Nope! Not even an attachment of audio recording capability considering you can at least play and listen to that in the app… I opened the pdf file and it was just a blank white page. I hummed testing it out to record and see this so called sheet music transcription. As I hummed and it recorded, I did see on the screen it was identifying notes as note letter name and whether a sharp or flat etc of the sound I had made, but that letter even only shows up as alphabet for a flash second and is gone. And none of those alphabet equivalents can even be found afterwards. I mean I know how to read music. Being a crappy app and doesn’t at all transcribe sheet music, but it was identifying note letter (well if it was even correctly doing so who knows), if it even saved the letters of notes that recorded, I could take a piece of paper and transcribe what my so called random busy body humming had looked like in musical format. I play musical instruments, I’m not looking to create music and pieces. I just happened to notice doing a chore that I was randomly humming and then “MR SNAIL!! Me SNAAAIL!!” And I didn’t notice I had been humming nonsense.. I’m like, “mr snail???? WTH?? LOL!!!” So I kept going and actually paid attention and realized that I was using a time measure and specific methodical order of musical chords’ notes hummed in progressions. And once at the end of the musical phrase of that melody.. out came this Mr snail!! I cracked up. Since I play violin and piano I said ok, lemme see what the heck my Mr Snail song, which I do recognize were in 4/4 time measure and remained in same musicsl composed tempos and types of notes… what a let down, we shall never have a visual of the amazing top charting 2022 one hit wonder of 2022, “MR SNAIL” … app deleted!!! Something tells me I’m gonna have mr snail stuck in my head nonstop for weeks ?? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IF YOU WANTED TO SEE TRANSCRIBED SHEET MUSIC OR DO ANY EDITING OR USAGE OF YOUR MUSICAL RECORDING. ALL IT DOES IS LISTEN, AND PLAY BACK THE EXACT RECORDING SOUND YOU JUST HAD THE PHONE HEAR!! I CANT EVEN SEND THE AUDIO IF THE LAMEST MR SNAIL SONG TO A FRIEND (prolly a good thing. Definitely not a song writer prodigy on that one!) Show more

    Good Idea, Didn’t Work
Downloaded to my iPhone 11. Did several tests. It just plain didn’t work.

    Works okay
Tried this on various piano pieces. Detects most notes as long as recording is clear, with few mistakes. When a mistake is made, I cannot edit the actual notes to fix it. Show more
