Now supporting Bluetooth and Airplay streaming! Use your iPhone as a live microphone. First, plug your iOS device into a stereo system and then, fire up the VonBruno Microphone app. Get everyone's attention, sing along with your music collection, host a game-show in your living room. Features you’ll love: • Easy on off switch • Swipe up or down to adjust volume • Choose effects to enhance your voice • Backgrounding and lock screen support • Bluetooth and AirPlay streaming • Feedback reduction technology • Sing along with songs from your iTunes library For best results, plug your phone into a speaker system for amplification. Streaming audio over bluetooth and airplay will introduce a noticeable delay in audio reproduction.

    Paid Version Does not Support
The app says it supports Apple Music, but it does not. It opens up my Apple Music playlist, but does not play them. I have tried several times, I’ve gone through setting etc. it just doesn’t work. It functions only as a microphone. Show more

    Good but missing key feature
I was looking at this compared to VonBruo’s free Microphone Live app, which indicates you can use a Bluetooth headset as a mic. This paid version does not support that, but is otherwise nicely designed. I really need to mix headset mic with music for gym instruction, seems like a killer app yet hard to find. Show more

    Can’t disable reverb
Purchased this app for taking people on tours, so I could broadcast my voice at a higher volume via bluetooth speaker without having to speak loudly. There is no option to disable reverb so it is probably a fun “sing-a-long” app for someone who want to purchase it specifically for that, but it is a terrible option for talking only. Show more

    Worse than free version
The free version of this app supports stereo sound (which I need). So I paid five bucks for the full version, which does NOT support stereo! Tried to get in touch with the developers, but there is no contact info anywhere to be had. Help! Show more

Excellent app, turns your iPhone into a sound stethoscope of sorts
If you need to listen to something that is low in volume and amplify it in your headset, this is a great solution. I had a problem where a device emitted a sound I needed to hear but was across the bench from me and had a low volume. I read of another person who listened to faint car noises while troubleshooting. Either way, position the top of your iPhone microphone by the source of sound you want to head and plug in your headsets. Select the iPhone microphone within the app. It worked for me for both Bluetooth and wired headset on an iPhone 6s plus. Sometimes the app gets confused when you plug/unplug/disconnect Bluetooth. In that case I close the app using the iPhone app menu and then start again. It’s great to have a solution for this problem, it has saved me a good deal of footwork. Thanks to the developer for building and maintaining this app. Show more
