MonoStereo Synthesizer is a free full-featured analog mono synth with oscillator panning. App Store Reviews: ***** "This is the finest synth in its class. (or their CD if you have one of those CD-players we used to have 3 years ago) Features: * Minimalistic size, fast loading time and CoreMIDI Support! * Audiobus and Inter-App Audio support * 3 Oscillators with customisable waveform (sine, square, saw), phase, level, detune and pan * Lowpass and Highpass filters * 2 LFO's with customisable targets from filter values to oscillator panning and detune * Filter and Amp Envelopes * Portamento (almost named that 'Glide' but came to my senses.     Pretty cool
    This app is a good start to the creation of many cool sounds. I do wish the preset sound choices weren't so few, which means that I'll have to roll up my sleeves and start creating sounds myself. But isn't that what this is all about? Cool early 80's sounds Show more

    Great synth
    I connected this to Ableton and keyboard with iConnectivity. It works great, made a little latency correction (my gear is not ultra fast). Just making tests with Audiobus, looks good.

    Thanks, this is a great update
    Woo hoo is right, great to now be able to integrate this with sequencers and daw on the device. Big sound. No latency issues here

    Latency issues
    I downloaded the app with high hopes. Alas, it has severe latency problems. Almost a 1 second delay from the time you press a key before the keyboard responds. Unusable for live work. Even studio work will be difficult since you can't play in time with a source. The filters and oscillators seem very well done. Lots of cool sounds can be had. When latency get fixed, this could be killer.... Good work so far, dev. Keep it up! Show more

    Wow!!
    This is the finest synth in its class. It has great presets and something a little extra special on it. It cuts. It's simple. And it sounds fantastic! I know there are a few homegrown mono synths out there, but none that sound like this. World class. And laid out perfectly. Extremely responsive. Latency is non existent. Thank u!     Amazing and great sounding update
    This guy knocks it out of the park! The definite analog vibe and sound is very welcome indeed! And not one bell or whistle. It would be nice if the detune range was able to do at a fifth above or below the center position for one note chords.But theres a lot of pure power waiting to be unlocked and modulated. So great! I have already spent hours with this little gem. A three oscillator dream.And you can save and name patches! Although it should also have the ability to rename or delete which I am sure it will get in a future update. Please give this audio buss and audio share ASAP! Peace Christo Show more

    update! wow that was a superfast update!!!!! loving the smaller keys and new design.old review --->.. i like the raw sound! the issue is when keyboard is being used half of the parameters can ot be used.. audiobus and audio copy are really needed. i enjoyed the basic,raw ballsy sound of this synth though!     Great initial effort!
    I enjoyed playing around with the presets and keyboard. Having a continuous sound without the keyboard display would allow greater play with the various settings to better learn their use. Looking forward to the next release! Show more

    I got it because...
    Of the developer's wit! Much appreciated. I got it just so I can write this review and express this. I like the fact that this person recommends we go out and support live shows and t-shirt buying and cd buying...isn't that the way it used to be, like he said, three years ago (ok, I am 40...my first concert was New Order, PIL, Sugarcubes in 1989...yes I bought a t-shirt for New Order-Technique and for PIL) what happened to those days...everything is kinda d e k c u f now Anyway...ok, add a sustain/hold button and the ability to scroll the editing page up and down to see the parameters when the keyboard is in top.
