MP3 Cutter Joiner consists of a MP3 Cutter and a MP3 Joiner. It is much easier for you to get highlights from MP3 files with MP3 Cutter function, howerver, with MP3 Joiner function, you can perfectly join many audio files into one. Top-notch production: All MP3 files that we created with MP3 Cutter Joiner had the same quality as the original file. Producing new files was very fast, with most MP3s only taking less than 30 seconds to create. Pleasant design: You will enjoy the plain, comfortable design of this program. There are only a handful of objects in the program window, which we found to be a streamlining aspect of MP3 Cutter Joiner.

    Don't Waste Your Money
Try to joint my audiobook files. And the new output file can only play the first part and not continued. Try MP3 Trimmer by deepNiner, work perfect for me.

    Very Poor Program
Takes a LONG time to load audio files, then begins to play it automatically and takes a LONG time to stop when you press the Stop button (there’s no option to not automatically play the audio file you load). On cutting, it will only export the selected piece, if you want to split a file you have to input the first half to export it, then go back and input the second half; in other words, it keeps the original file intact and only extracts what you want. There’s no option to have it continually reduce the original file size by the portion you’ve extracted. This is really cumbersome if you have one long audio file comprised of multiple songs that you want to break into separate songs - you have to input the start and end time of each individual song to one-by-one extract the individual songs. It doesn't continually reduce the audio file size by virtue of a song you’ve just extracted, making the next song the beginning of the remaining file. Do not recommend. Try NCH’s Wave Studio instead. Simply Works as Described
I’m not sure why others may have had a problem with this app — I added 16 MP3 files and then created/joined into one MP3; it worked perfectly. The interface is very easy to use. Show more

    1Gb MP3 File into 2 ~500Mb Files. Awesome.
I don’t know what other people are using this for, but I have an audiobook building app that doesn’t accept 1 gig MP3 files (converting to M4b), so I needed an easy way to split the file into two or three files. This app allowed me to determine the start and stop of the original file and output a new file with the start & stop times in the filename. Exactly what I needed. No hang-ups. Hasn’t crashed. I have two files that my audiobook converter can now use (nevermind why it works with two files that equate to the originally large file). What’s there not to like? Show more

    Freezes, Unable to Work
I have tried using this many times now and not been able to get it to work. It freezes every time and times out. This needs significant improvement at this point. Show more

Has Promise, but I'm deleting it
I usually use an audio editor to merge multiple files together. I've been doing that for 15 years and although it is tedious, it is reliable and precise and I can check the results as I go. I was delighted to find this app as it seemed like it could be a real timesaver. So, I took a set of fourteen mono mp3s that had been ripped at 16K sampling rate from an audiobook and fed it to the app. I expected it to detect the current encoding and provide settings to match. But it simply used app defaults. When I ran it it upsampled the files, turning a set of 400M files into a single 570M file, a 40% increase in size. It would be much nicer if I knew that it could default to the same input settings instead of uselessly upsampling, which is just a waste of space and time. Speaking of time, it took a bit over 20 mintues to join the files, which is much slower that I could do by hand using an audio editor. It seemed to lightly load my multiprocessor MBP, so I image there is potential for many speed improvements and for using multiple CPUs at once. So, for joining files, this is OK for me as sometimes I don't mind it taking so long and being so inefficient since I don't have to work, but if I was in a hurry and was concerned for the size of the joined file, I'd do the work by hand. I hope the app imrpoves so I can come back and give it a better rating. UPDATE: I tried joining a number of mp3s again using this tool, and the results were not useful. I noticed it doesn't set the tags on the resulting file. So it turns out I can do everything by hand quicker, and get a better result. The point of a program like this, it seems to me, should be to make life easier and do the tedious things for me. I suggest passing on this one, I'm going to delete it and hide the entry in my purshases tab. Show more
