Renzoku Drums Free is a new kind of drumming application. It is a drum loop sequencer with 4 way pattern switch. 4 pattern presets are all customizable and you can switch them rapidly with keyboard. Switch rhythm patterns as you like. Rhythm pattern will vary smoothly. And you can edit pattern immediately with the pattern editor. Renzoku Drums Free is designed for 1.     "Velocity" is actually Volume
    Works good for practicing or for use as a metronome. The "Velocity" function allows you to adjust the impact of any of the drum sounds, however, "Velocity' is not actually reflected, it just adjusts the Volume of the exact same sound. It does not emulate a lower velocity drum strike. Show more

    Great For What It Is
    I use this app to replace a metronome when I’m running drills on my guitar. It’s much nicer to use this than a metronome, since it feels more like playing with others. Yes, the sounds are mediocre, but it’s a free app that works great. I think it’s perfect for what it is. Show more

    If expanded upon, could be the start of something great.
    I love the simplicity of the layout. This is exactly how I visualize rhythm (a grid) and you can create some pretty fantastic grooves, especially if you make use of velocity (which couldn’t be simpler to use). If a few things were added, this could easily be a go to app for a number of uses. Well done developer. A great one-horse-pony so far (I mean that in the best way. it only does one thing but it does it VERY well). I would love to see the ability to store/backup patterns (once you’ve created the 4 grooves, you’d have to over-write one to do another). Even a dropdown menu of your stored patterns would be a huge step up. The record function is great but it would take it to another level if you could export per number of bars at the specified tempo (loop creation, etc…). Also, a variety of sounds or ability to import your own sounds would be fantastic (I’d love to be able to use various world percussion as well). very cool. With those changes, I would have no trouble paying real money for it. Show more

    Exactly what I was looking for
    It’s perfect, a super simple, quick to open app that can play a customizable drum beat. Only problem, IMHO the drum sounds are terrible, if theres a way to switch out the samples PLEASE let me know! Show more

    Very good for guitarists as well!
    I’m not really a fan of metronomes, and this app perfectly replaces a metronome with way more color and a live music feel. Highly recommended for tempo practice.

    Very fun!
    Easy to use and to quickly make your own unique beat. Going to use this in dance class as an improvization exercise!

    Good and Unique
    This drum application has a relatively simple interface, and is rather intuitive. If you are new to music making, this is a great way to to make drum sounds. If you are looking for an easy way to get a beat going, get this app. If you are like me and you enjoy fun instruments of all kinds, add Renzoku Drums to your repertoire today.
