Screenshots

How does it work? Simply download the app, put on some headphones, turn on your Location Services and make your way to any one of the locations on the map. Each location contains multiple zones, which trigger audio as you move around. The sonic experiences ready to be discovered within the Sculpture in Sound app are: Solace in the Wind - Sculpture by Max Patté Wellington Waterfront, Te Papa Queen Victoria - Sculpture by Alfred Drury Cambridge Terrace Bronze Form - Sculpture by Henry Moore Salamanca Lawn, Kelburn Ngā Kina - Sculpture by Michel Tuffery Wellington Waterfront Woman of Words - Sculpture by Virginia King Midland Park, Lambton Quay Albatross - Sculpture by Tanya Ashken Whairepo Lagoon Wellington Sonicity is a new platform for sonic artistic expression. It is location-sensitive, meaning it responds to the geolocation of the user. Using binaural 360º sound, users can surround themselves in full, real-world soundscapes that can be delivered through any headphones.
