    Don’t spend the money - just crashes over and over again
    This app is not functional. I have never been able to submit an audio file to it and process it to yield anything at all. It just crashes every time. DO NOT buy this app. As is, it is a rip off. Show more

    Keeps crashing
    I’ve tried this app with a couple of files, but it keeps crashing on my 2013 MacPro. I tried it with two different audio files, one only 100kb, so it shouldn’t have been overwhelmed by the size. I wish it would work for me. Show more

    Amazing Noise Reduction Performance
    This is an interesting piece of software to say the least for several reasons. 1. It has no real user interface, just a window containing a place to click to ’select noisy file’ and a two-button area to select how you want the file saved either as an export to wav file or Replace in Original. To clean a track you just select a noisy file in a dialog box that pops up when you "select noisy file" in the app's only window and it processes it. I tested it with a .mov video file (which is required. Meaning it requires a video file) and then clicking OK. It does it’s job quickly. The other option is to save your video file so that the app replaces the audio in the original .mov file. I have not tested it with other video formats, only this one file shot on a Canon 70D I think. The file is a shot of one person being interviewed. The background ‘noise’ is primarily loud hiss. Obnoxious hiss. The WooWave app killed the hiss completely while leaving the voice sounding closely on mic. From here you could do further EQ to taste in your DAW or NLE. There are no settings to adjust. Nothing to do besides selecting OK. 2. I don’t know how it would work using an XDCAM EX file or a file from a GH5 or Tascam, Zoom or anything else. I’ll get to testing that later on. 3. I'd prefer to have this functionality as an audio plug-in to use inside FCPX. That would eliminate having to do this extra step of pre-processing all my noisy clips and then importing them into FCPX. 4. Did I mention it’s quick? It’s really quick. It converted the 1.63 gb video file in the blink of an eye. I could not even time it because it happened so fast on my 2017 iMac 4.2ghz i7 with 32gb RAM. Bottom line: Very effective on hiss. Will try it out on other noise problematic clips and other codecs as time permits. So far so good. I gave it 4 stars because of the functionality limits I mentioned. Show more
