Our free iTunes song announcer. For when your Mac is on the other side of the room blasting out tunes in shuffle mode and suddenly an awesome song you haven't listened to in forever comes on. Oh shoot, what's this one, again? Don't sweat it: if you have SpeakMyTunes running, your Mac will read it out to you in an unsettling synthetic voice of your choosing.

    Very cool!! Muy buena aplicación
    Una muy buena aplicación presentando mi música en iTunes! Personalizable y agradable! (Tip: es mejor mantener corto el comentario de la aplicación para que no se vuelva molesto con el tiempo). Sin embargo, una estrella menos porque en mi Consola de errores, aparece un mensaje recurrente (cada 2 o 3 segundos) que dice: "31/03/12 17:27:30,394 SpeakMyTunes: NOT paused." Concuerdo con iLogical, sería agradable incluir la opción de bajar el volumen de iTunes cuando la aplicación presenta la canción e curso, pero no estoy seguro que sea sencillo de hacer (tiempo atrás, intentando algo similar con AppleScript, me parece recordar que había alguna dificultad en obtener el volumen actual para modificarlo y devolverlo a como estaba).     Neat!
    This is a cool little app for iTunes, it works great. My only request would be for it to lower the iTunes volume while the announcement plays. Currently it is only capable of pausing between songs but it doesn't work well if you have the Crossfade option enabled in iTunes. Show more

    ehhh
    Love the idea, and it works. But the voices are just too bad to keep the program, and words were easily confused by the program.

    I'ts just like having your on DJ! Terrific! It has a nice feature, allowing you to either start the vocal description before the song starts, or at the beginning of the song. I enjoy both options. This application was a nice find. My only suggestion to add value to this app, would be to allow it to work via Apple TV2! Show more

    Much, much better! The options provided in 2.0 are absolutely perfect! I will again suggest one more option, the ability to decrease the volume of iTunes itself when it's announcing the song. I have iTunes set to half the volume so I can hear the speach (which is at full strength). My system is at full volume too and it would be nice if you added a "fade song" feature with a volume control of before and after. Show more

    I love it!
    This app is great! I played around with the different voices and some of them made me laugh so hard that I almost cried! Useful for unfamiliar music.

    Works perfectly
    It works perfectly. Only reason I gave it a 4/5 was because it would be nice if it was more customizable. Would like to be able to customize what is said more than just check boxes, like: "Current song is %T by %R from %A" %T could be the title %R could be the artist %A could be the album Show more
