Excellent tool used for evaluating performance of our fleet of natural Gas Gensets
Thanks for hard work keeping up with latest operating environments and iphone models. This is a valuable tool for real world engineering test.

    Great app, very useful
As a 20-year audio pro, I find this a handy little tool for quick measurements and problem-solving. Love the pause feature and the screenshot export. For live rooms or in the studio, this app is no-nonsense, efficient, and quick. Show more

    Very Pleased
This has been a helpful and easy to use tool. It makes you wonder why the hardware gear is so expensive. All of them simply get you in the general ballpark then your ears do the rest. I don't believe that getting this app will be a regret if it saves your mix or ears just once. Just my humble opinion. Show more

    Cost vs performance
    An exceptional value

    Room Acoustics
I am quite pleased with this app. My interest is room acoustics, especially Meeting Rooms for unprogrammed Quakers (Religious Society of Friends). Two Meeting Rooms of quite designs struggle with noise from furnace fans. With this app in my iPhone I easily made simply analyses. Thanks for this great app! Show more

    Quite good
Works well for measuring sound spectra in octave & 1/3 octave bands. Surprisingly accurate... dB(A) and dB(C) values measure within 2 dB of a calibrated type 2 sound level meter at frequencies between 400 Hz and 2 kHz (all bands that I tested), at levels of ~65 dB. Pricey, though less expensive than other options in the app store... and WAY less expensive than a standalone spectrum analyzer. The output .csv feature is quite useful. The developer could improve this function by adding the ability to view/rename/delete files outside of Itunes. Overall a solid app worth the $$$. Show more

    Spectro:Skop is Awesome!
I've always had an interest in sound but I bought the app to help analyze a noisy piece of hardware at work. Even using the iPad 2 internal microphone I am extremely impressed with this app. There are enough settings available to make this app truly versatile. You can capture several audio spectrums making it easy to compare noise/sound under several conditions so you can compare and analyze the differences. You can take a screenshot or export the data in csv format. I initially had some microphone problems and consulted the developer. I got an immediate email response and the excellent support continued including several additional emails and a video (made for me) to show me what the display should look like. The support of the developer was very much appreciated. Excellent customer support. This app has a lot to offer both the professional and the novice interested in learning more about sound frequencies and amplitudes. I highly recommend it. Show more

    Nicely done
This a good, easy to use, and effective acoustic frequency spectrum analyzer. It is a nice app to have on the iPhone, particularly if you are involved in physics, engineering, music, or any application involving sound and acoustics. Its FFT software works well and gives good real time readings. Show more
