Screenshots

StageCaller lets you connect an iPhone to an existing MIDI or OSC network and trigger sounds (like a phone ringing) or vibration using your favorite cuing software. • you can trigger actions (sounds or vibration) via OSC/MIDI. • actions can be stopped: - by receiving another OSC/MIDI trigger - by a swipe on the lock screen - after repeating a number of times - until device is picked up (on certain devices - basically iPhone 4s and higher) - until volume is changed • receive device heartbeat via OSC/MIDI to make sure your device is still connected • automatic reconnect to MIDI Host (experimental and undocumented, but works really well) • load your own sounds via Dropbox, Google Drive, or your own media library • iOS11, iOS10, iOS9, and iOS8 compatible Please note while running StageCaller : Receiving MIDI or OSC commands in the background will dramatically decrease battery life. If you are experiencing any network lag or connectivity issues, please make sure your wireless router has the latest firmware installed - trust me... it'll help a lot
What’s New
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. • fixed an OSC Heartbeat bug where the IP address would revert to 127.0.0.1 (how did I not notice this before?)

    Adequate
I am able to start and stop sounds via osc. The features allowing for the actor to interact (pick up the call) are poor. But that can be done from the booth, so... Show more

No documentation for set up available
I shelled out my 10 bucks assuming, wrongly, that it would have support. Went to their website and started to follow what appeared to be good installation instructions. (Without which, there’s no way to intuit or devine how the heck to hook this thing up to midi/OSC) The first set of instructions are good, then the remaining 2/3 of the instructions simply show "Sorry - not written yet…” Oopps. I wish 2/3 of my 10 bucks wouldn’t get charged yet. Don’t buy. Not ready for prime time. Show more

Awesome, works great & solves many challenges elegantly. Coupled with a small battery speaker it works well as a wireless radio, baby in a carriage etc. etc. Install it on your own phone also and it could even be used to get out of a tech rehearsal by making your own phone ring with an “important call”… Just sayin' Show more
