A great little app for audio engineers. Simply tap a quarter note on the "Tap Here" button and you will instantly know the beats per minute of the song, and also the appropriate milliseconds for musical notes for your delay effects! A great application for use the studio and live performance. You can also set the temp via a slider or tap the BPM label to input the tempo straight from a keyboard. Flip the color scheme with the 'Flip' button to increase visibility for indoor/outdoor use.
What’s New
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Remove support for Dynamic Type that pushes font size too large.

    Doesn’t work on iOS 12 on XsMax
    I use this app all the time to set delay times. After upgrading my phone to the XsMax the home screen of the app doesn’t render properly. It’s very difficult to read the screen. App needs an update!!! Show more

    Smaller increments!
    Oh no! It won’t get small enough with divisions. Things like pre-delay need to get to the 10s and 20s. I have a cut time song at 100bpm, I upped the app to 200bpm but it still only gets to 75ms. I wouldn’t even be writing this if I hadn’t paid for it. Will gladly give full five stars if this one thing can be fixed. Show more

    Beware, I just waist 2$ on this useless app that freeze up the screen on launch. Developer! Please update, last update was 2010...

    Quick How-To
    Great app !! Just remember: 1. Always tap 5 times for a response. Otherwise, it will perpetually indicate "Calculating". 2. Tempo and delay times update on every 2nd tap thereafter until 'Reset'.

    Great App
    This app works exactly as advertised and is fast and cheap. It will calculate tempo based on your tapping, or calculate delay in milliseconds. Very nice!

    .Great for DAW Sessions Not Recorded With a Click
    This app has a simple interface, most of what I'd ever want to do is right on the home screen, and I can get the calculation I want very quickly. Yet there's flexibility to move beyond the "tap" option and to type in the BPM, or to use the slider to find my desired BPM to calculate milliseconds of musical delay. Thanks Brainwash Inc!
