Explore unreal synthesis with the most unique performance control on iOS! TC-Performer presents a multi-touch performance environment unlike any other synthesizer. Simply touch the screen; there are no buttons, keys, or sliders to hit. The sounds are generated entirely by your touch movements. Each patch has a unique method of control. Pull, tap, drag, twist, and stretch your touches on the screen. There is no wrong way to play! Every instrument is a new landscape of sound creation. Pads, leads, effects, and indescribable oddities await. You can download more patches in packs inside the app. There is also a transposition section available to change the key of the patch to fit your song, and Audiobus compatibility to record via inter-app audio.     Good to know
    Just letting you know, no emojis will be present in this review, and I keep the language clean, I know this is a disappointment to some but what ever This is important to know. The only thing that changes the rating in my eyes is the "Paywall". In my opinion this wall would be fine if the app didn't have so little content to start with. while saying that, the content is really well made, and is worth your time. If there was a bit less of the huge paywall this app would be a 5. Let's get to talking bout the content. How bout we? To start the content, while not a huge amount (only 6 different options out of the many) is well made, everything sounds really good. And the different "patches" add even more options. As I have said above "If there was a bit less of the huge paywall this app would be a 5." That still caries over. I still thinks this deserves a 3-3.5 star review. Hopes this helps. Show more

    A-bug
    The latest update introduced a bug that made some of my patches in the 'M' category disappear. I had to delete the app and reinstall it to get my patches back. Besides that, I love this app! Show more

    Classic App!
    One of the best if not the best electronic music apps. Fantastic sounds and truly fun to use. Buy it and get all the sounds. Well worth the price.

    TC-11 tiny
    I am really enjoying TC-performer, but I have the tiniest of requests: Allow users to export patches from TC-11 to TC-Performer. Done. Obviously you can charge for this, I would like it to be a one time fee,.. maybe part of the 'All Packs + Transposition' IAP, but I would be willing to buy another IAP to import patches from TC-11. And it would be a win win for everyone, more people would want to buy TC-11 because users could then create patches to then play on their paid copy of TC-Performer. Portability, and customizability, if you have an iPad w TC-11 that is. TC-performer is great, I am just a fanatic when it comes to sound design. Show more

    Wonderful Tool But Has Some Bugs.
    I have so far found this synthesizer/noise-maker application to just be wonderful and it has really helped to jumpstart my creativity today. I really like the interface a lot and even though it smudges up my screen a lot. I really find it cool how you can play multiple notes at once by pressing with different fingers at the same time. I also appreciate how once you purchase the full upgrade that you can change the interface colors. And I was hesitant but I did find the full $6.99 upgrade price very much worth it to get the transposition and all of the presets. So, I highly recommend making that purchase if you were worried if it was worth it or not like me. The amount of high quality new presets that you get from upgrading is awesome in my opinion, you receive such a diverse set of high quality sounds (though, the volume is a little low on some I thought.). I should say too that some of the presets in that upgrade and in the default set of presets you get before the upgrade, don't work at all on my device. I haven't demoed every sound yet, but, so far three presets don't work at all if I select them and try to play them on the main screen and the demo panel. Those three presets are "Calcudance", "Mechanical Stretchbot" and "Mrs Donovan." Still, even besides that preset bug, I overall find this app to just be a wonderful new tool to have in my music-making arsenal on my iPad and I highly recommend the app to others.
