A meditative and immersive event, this piece uncovers the hidden treasures of Mount Maunganui. Commissioned especially for Tauranga Arts Festival, this piece was created by renowned musician, Riki Gooch in collaboration with Sonicity. The creative team worked closely with the kaitiaki of Mauao to reflect and distill their own experience of the place and turn the landscape, topography and mythology into a one of a kind experience for local audiences.
