Underground Sound is a platform created for artists, by artists. Musicians are endowed with the freedom of unlimited uploads, while listeners are able to enjoy free streaming. With UGS, listeners have the ability to discover new music seamlessly and can directly support the artists they discover and connect with through our ‘Support’ feature. Underground Sound is a powerful tool for both artists and listeners alike. Musicians can upload audio files and/or visuals which are posted to our ‘Dig’ feed. Our proprietary algorithm enables listeners to discover and connect with artists on their feed, based on their listening preferences. Instead of comments, users provide reviews and ratings on posts uploaded by artists. They can directly support artists as well as add their music to their ‘Archive’ or playlists with ease. By reviewing music, listeners establish credibility among the community and connect with more artists who request their feedback. While artists are able to receive donations directly through their posts and on their profiles, listeners are equally able to receive donations for reviews they provide. This new way of distributing and discovering music creates a unique community of musicians and music lovers who are eager to network and find the next hot Underground Sound.
