I really like the teaching style of this content. I got it for my 3 year old. Eventually we got the lifetime subscription because this program has content for all ages. He will be able to grow with this content and his little sister will be able to use it, too. This content supports bells, xylophone, boomwhackers, recorder, piano, basically anything that uses Chromatones or that you can put stickers on. The program is even teaching chords but in a subversive way. I guarantee guitar chords are going to make more sense to my kiddo down the line. I’m a classically trained violinist. Everything they do makes sense to me, but is also just higher thinking, setting my kiddo up with a strong base. For example, when they put the bells/notes on an actual staff, just zoomed in. It is priming the kids to get use to where the notes will be in relation to the clef, lines and spaces. My 3 year old loves the bells/characters. He thinks he HAS to get a board out of the cupboard to use it just like Mr Rob has his bells set out. Also he loves to point out Baby Lil any time he sees her. I love that there are printables in the resource section of the app/site. I don’t love that it is cumbersome to find them. We use this product on the AppleTV app the most. We also have it on iPad and have used the website. The website is best organized but it’s not the most convenient way to play it so we don’t use it often. I wish something about the organization or layout of the apps would change to make more sense. A big wish is that I dont want to have to control the remote every 3 minutes to move my kiddo to the next song. I use that time for cooking and cleaning but it’s really tough to have to stop and change the video for him. I wish I could just select the C section and it would play through all of the videos, or at least auto play the next one after selecting one to start with. One great side effect is that while the 3 year old is playing, I’ve noticed the 12 month old saying the solfège scale, too. She’s learning by osmosis. Show more

We purchased a lifetime membership for our 2 boys on their birthday. We have been using it on and off for a couple of years and all four of our children love it! It’s sweet to see them all share the same knowledge in a subject. They each have their strengths when it comes to music and it’s neat to see those come out! We have recently started making it a routine part of our day since we are at a stage and place where we can finally do that! Our children are currently 2,4,6 and 8. I love that all of my children can learn this together, no matter where life takes us and, it will be a consistent educational experience. The value has far exceeded the price we paid! Show more

We love playtime prodigies & purchased a lifetime membership for our two 1 yr olds. However, every time we access the app on our Roku, the videos don’t match up with the audio which is confusing for the kids. It works perfectly on our iphones & fire stick, but we have a Roku in the playroom so it’s a bummer that we can’t do music in there. Would be great if you guys could work on that bug!! Show more

Unfortunately no matter what I do, delete/re-download, refresh, etc. there is no getting rid of the audio choppiness of the lessons. My wife has bars and has no trouble streaming any other videos/apps. Huge bummer because I loved this program and recommended it to everyone I knew. Show more

Their customer service is the worst. They sent out an email regarding 100 bells in stock for purchase on 11/28 and I went to their website to purchase one set for my son. When I didn’t even get a shipping info from them I started contacting their customer service on 12/10. It was only after I requested refund to Amazon Pay (12/14) that I got a response from Prodigies. They asked if I would wait until February, to which I said absolutely not and I just want my money back and do not wish to wait any longer since they haven’t shipped it. They shipped it the next day on 12/15 after I insisted I want a refund. Supposedly 2 day shipping and today it is 12/28. I am still waiting for the bell to leave east coast. I’ve contacted Amazon pay once again for refund and they are now saying since it’s been shipped I need to wait 30 days. This is the most ridiculous thing ever, if you don’t have bells to sell then don’t. If you have it and received payment, ship it. If you haven’t shipped in over 2 weeks and get a refund request then it’s only right that you refund the money. Don’t send the unwanted product a month late! After this I have such terrible taste in my mouth I can’t even bother with the bells anymore. Seriously forget it. I am refusing your product and filing complaint with credit card company. Blocking this company forever. Do not trust your money with them, this is horrible business practice. I would not want them to have my credit card info. Show more

I love this program and it keeps getting better. Each time I log in it feels like there’s more lessons, more material, and better and better layouts. This app makes it soooo easy to watch our favorite lessons! Keep it up! Show more

This program has made my 5yo LOVE music! He understands so much music theory after just a month of videos. I really love how they explain music, beats, measures, etc. He has a lot of fun following along and I like that they offer instruction for different types of instruments. Show more

My kids are playing the violin and guitar for over a year this is a great Way to learn Music theory!

I love the way this program works and my son has learned so much! I wish there was an auto play feature.

My kids have been with Prodigies for 2 years and are now 3 and 5. We learned the first kid had perfect pitch from Mr Rob’s videos. Now we are trying to figure out kid #2. We have 10 kids using this program essentially every day, ranging in ages from 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11. My intermediate piano player picked up the ukulele, and my other kids the xylophone. We bought some stickers and color coded Montessori bells, xylophone. We’re throughly enjoying it. Show more

As a professional pianist, former professor, and current stay at home homeschooling mom of four little boys, I can unequivocally recommend prodigies as an invaluable resource for teaching children!!! I was looking for videos to help teach my children and I’m so glad I found Preschool Prodigies on YouTube! I quickly purchased a subscription and have loved it! I have been extremely impressed with the quality of the musical content as well as the pedagogical methods. Everything is totally on point and so accessible to and engaging for little kids! My two year old gets SO excited for “Do!!” And my four and six year old boys have grasped, retained, and applied the concepts so well!! And they have had fun in the process, they love it!
