    Something Soulful Please.
This App. has The potential to be a great app. According to this app, I am a Mezzo Soprano vocalist, but the App. only presented songs by Men for my voice. Also, there was nothing current available for me to sing. Especially there was nothing soulful presented. I would’ve paid $3.99 if there were soulful songs available. Lastly, my range surpasses what’s available in the app, but the app stops monitoring before I reach my lower range. I’m a female, but I can sing baritone notes, I can also hit Mariah Carey notes, but again the app would not register those notes. Had this been more robust, I would have easily purchased it. Thanks for the experience and the work you have contributed to develop this app. I will keep my eyes open for an update. Show more

    Disappointing
I had high hopes for this app. It sounds great in the description but alas I find it severely lacking in actual delivery. The pitch range finder is way off to start with. I am a bass and for some reason it says “Mezzo Soprano” after recording my voice. That’s ridiculous since my vocal range is from C1-A4. The range scale inexplicably ends at C2, so it’s missing an entire octave at the bottom of the register. Granted not all basses can hit C1 but they should be able to hit either an E1 or F1 and that’s not an option with this app currently. I know you can adjust the sliders manually but, in my opinion, that really defeats what this app was designed to do. Maybe the dev put that in so you could tweak things to see what other songs and artists would match up with you if you sang in a slightly higher or lower register. The top end of the Soprano range does not seem to suffer from being cut short like the bass. There are probably some sopranos that can go above the C6 and would say extend this to C7. I’m not exactly sure what buying the pro version of the app gives you, but I, for one, am not willing to spend money to upgrade an app that in my opinion is already lacking in its delivery. For now I’d say pass on this app until the dev makes some necessary tweaks! Show more

    An octave off?
I may be mistaken, but I believe this app is telling me an octave below my pitch. I don’t think my voice is near a bass but it’s saying that I’m singing a f2 if this is right, I’m sorry. It doesn’t seem like it is though. The only reference I have is my friend who is in choir class and I feel like he probably is right. He’s a tenor with his lowest note being c3 and I can’t sing lower than him, but this app tells me otherwise... 4 stars only because I’m not sure about me being right. Show more

    Know your range before hand
This is not good for finding your range only for finding like singers which is valuable

  • YoMama2019, 04.04.2020

    Good game, need some improvements
When I downloaded the app, It didn’t go past C2 which is a chest note for me, so overall, it was not good to feel that I was to low

App not good for lower range
App doesn’t go any lower than a C2. I hit a C2 then I go lower and it tells me I hit a C5. I couldn’t hit a C5 if I tried. This may be a good app for higher ranges but I wouldn’t know. Show more

Serves its purpose, but very finicky
You have to be in a completely silent room and not move a muscle while you sing, otherwise it’ll detect the slightest noice and assume that it was you who made the single sound four octaves deeper than your normal range and completely screw up the range it’s recorded for you. You can drag the high and low ends of the range yourself to fix this, but that defeats the purpose of the app. Finding singers with the same range is a super neat feature. I don’t have a great sense of pitch so I can’t confirm how close it is, but it definitely seems to be accurate. I only got a very limited number of artists in my range, but in fairness my range is pretty small so that may be why. Show more

    Bigger range of notes
The place to show your range only goes up to C6 and I know that I can go way higher than that but I don’t know exactly because it doesn’t show higher notes. Please work on that. Thanks. Show more

Good app, but Range too limited
I love the accuracy of the app, it is good for people who don’t have perfect pitch. However I do have one complaint: The range stops at C2 and C6, plenty of singers can sing higher or lower than that, including myself who can go below C2 and it is especially frustrating that when matching famous singers, the app includes notes like B1 in their ranges and claims that I am a semitone above. Limited range
I am a soprano, and I wanted to test my low range with this. I then went to test my high range, and found that it only goes to a C6. This is not inclusive for all voices, as my highest note is a F6-G6, sometimes a C7 on a good day. Show more

Bass Singers don’t waste your time on this.
You want an actual problem the lowest note on this is Low C,I have a C3-C0 Model Range. Further the High note setting doesn’t adjust automatically so if you don’t pay attention it will give a massively incorrect range. Show more

    It’s good, but
When your a bass who sings below C2 it limits you to C2 and then spits in you face and says look how small your vocal range is compared to this celebrity, when you can go lower that that celebrity. Show more

    I love this app!
I love this app a lot!I know my vocal range now!I’ve been searching for a while for an app like this. The only thing I would change about the app is: Make the app have up to 6 octaves not 4. Show more
