I have subscribed for several years. I renewed using version 1.9 and now the app only works on the device I used to pay for the renewal. It now wants me to pay for a separate subscription for each device. Customer support is unresponsive and of no help. Show more

If you will not do the appropriate updates need then sell the app to someone who will. A beautiful interface but it lacks in so much basic functionality that it’s a major pain. I will not repeat what others have said. Their Facebook page is full of unfulfilled promises and loaded with complaints. Many of us keep it only because of the volume and variety. DO NOT BUY IT. Unfortunately, while the interface for this APP is relatively attractive, once you get past the surface, there are various flaws which render it very user unfriendly. Chief among theses, as has been pointed out by many reviews here, is the fact that you can’t mark anything has having been listened to and/or completed. Without keeping your own personal records, you can easy get lost trying to resume a program or series. Other OTR Apps offer this service, but for whatever reason, this one doesn’t and has steadfastly refused to update with that feature. Why pay for something that you then have to manually supplement yourself? Following that you have misfiled shows, missing episodes not marked, playback skips which exclude whole episodes, lots of misspellings, etc. To sum up: This APP stinks. DO NOT BUY IT. Show more

Can you believe there is no way to mark “episodes played” What!? How basic. So you need to memorize every show you played and where you left off. Wow. Amateur programmers over there ???? Show more

many buttons and controls are not labelled. cannot navigate anywhere. deserves no stars.

I paid but cannot get onto the app. I have tried unsuccessfully to reach the developers.

I love the access to countless old time radio shows. It’s Absolutely amazing how many shows are on this one app! I am very pleased and I listen to it everyday! My daughter is a huge fan of Father Knows Best, and my wife loves Drag net. And I love the westerns. If I could suggest one minor upgrade, If the developers could find away to mark the shows that we have listen to. Then I will give you six stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Show more

Looked over the app and tried it, looked very rich in content and the app design was sleek but somewhat buggy. Paid for a 1 yr sub which was not recognized after trial ended and had me purchase again and am now charged twice in 3 days. Really sad I got ripped off and worse locked out of the app. Show more

Paid for a 3-month “trial” and so far so great! Took a min to figure how to remove a download but that’s taken care of. So many programs, old familiars and old newly found shows! Thx so much!! Show more

The app *looks* very nice but has such little functionality. Most of all, it offers no way to keep track of episodes already listened to. With over 61,000 episodes, that’s important! I’ve been listening to a series with seven seasons. Each time I go back in to listen, I have to choose the series, choose the season, and then scroll down through the 200 episodes per season, and find the next one I need - I just have to remember each time . . . “Okay, let me think - now I’m on #134 of season three.” Being able to bookmark a particular season and then showing which have played and which haven’t seem pretty basic functions for an audio player to have. Also, under settings, it has a “Playback Setting” with an on/off switch. When I try to turn it on, a pop up says, “Playback Info: You need to select valid playback auto stop option before playback mode activation!” What does that even mean? And then how/where do I do that? In fact, the whole settings section is pretty much useless. There’s another part that says how many days are left in my subscription. “Subscription: 325 days left in your yearly subscription.” When I click on it, there’s a pop up that says, “Subscription: 325 days left in your yearly subscription!” Exactly the same thing! I mean, what’s the point of that?! Another part is “How to use” - click on that and it goes to another page with several prompts to download the app . . . Um, I’ve already downloaded it! And then it lists a number of “features”, which still don’t give any “How to use” info. It’s redesigned! Huge collection! Also, screenshots of the player . . . Again, no additional “How to use” info. Basically, the app has thousands of OTR episodes and you can scroll through shows by genre and find shows you want to hear and then play them. While shows are playing, there’s a nice animation of an old record playing. Oh, you can ‘favorite’ shows to make them a little easier to find each time but beyond that, it does very little. Had the ap 2-3 weeks and now it won’t work.

The volume is very low . I would like to listen while walking And working. I need my hands and cannot carrying iPad , so I am unable to hear because the sound is so low on a great many recordings. Also, there are so many programs that take forever to hear because they are broken into five parts about ten minutes long with three minutes just being the introduction. The way this app describes its content is very misleading. Show more

I don't know why so many bad reviews. Everything here in one place for hours and hours of listening pleasure what more could you ask for?

The app overcharged me for the one month subscription ($2.99) for $15.98 ?

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP. My payment was accepted and successfully processed. The charge appears on my credit card statement. All radio shows remain blocked due to “lack of a subscription.” This glitch could be easily fixed, but five emails over 4 days to customer support have yielded no reply or remedy. At best, the app administrator is oblivious; at worst, s/he is dishonest. Now I will have to dispute the charge with the bank that issued my cc. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP. Show more

It’s a good looking app—but—-I found some of the shows sound was not good. After a week or so they want your money. You can find ALL of these shows for FRE on YouTube and other radio apps that don’t charge. Erasing app now. It’s too bad because for the most part the app was good——have you guys heard of ADS???
