    Stupid app
Won’t let me continue after the second startup page unless I “login” with Spotify- which I don’t use.

It was great now it's buggy
My theme settings reset every time I open the app. My Playlists are not in the correct order anymore. Please fix it!

    Can’t purchase. No longer supported?
Trial version was great but none of purchase options work. I don’t twitter or use the iOS email, so there’s no way to contact developer.

it’s cute, it just doesn’t work.
i keep trying to listen to a specific song and it keeps stopping! i think the hearts next to the titles is a really cute touch, that’s why i like this app so much, but please can i listen to my song for more than 10 seconds? ? Show more

    Though it would be great
App crashes just seconds after opening. Haven't been able to use it much

Love the app for local features but can’t get Spotify to load
Hey there, the app is beautiful and I like the features a lot. My only hangup, and it’s a fairly big one, is that I can’t seem to get the Spotify aspect of it to sync through in the slightest. Maybe there’s something I need to fix with my cache or my permissions but any additional help would be much appreciated. I bought the premium option if that somehow factors into this issue. Thank you for your time! Show more

Not an Improvement Over Native App
I didn’t find any features in this app that aren’t already available and easier to use, in the iOS Apple Music. Managing playlists is just as clunky, useful filtering options don’t seem to be present, and the user interface felt awkward. In addition, it’s awkward to select an output device, as it requires playing a song, clicking the artwork, and only then can you “route” the output. If I used both Spotify and Apple, I might see a need for an integrated app. For my purposes, only using one of the two, it seems more effort rather than less. Finally, I had trouble getting the music to play reliably. The app seems design to work only with files on the device. I obviously misunderstood “iTunes” to include “Apple Music”. However, despite that, the app recognizes playlists with only iCloud-based songs; it even lists those songs in Smart Playlists. It will even try to play them. Which is why I thought that Plum supported Apple Music. Unfortunately rather than remind the user of limitations, Plum starts to play the song, stutters, then stops. If I like the interface better, I might be interested. Under the circumstances, I just deleted the app instead. Update: The developer responded to my review. I’ve updated accordingly. I stand by my rating. And based on the message I received, well, it doesn’t seem written to ask me to take another look. That said, apps evolve. Lots of people love the app, so I’ll check in again in 10 months. Show more

    Give it a try
This app is really cool and works seamlessly. Gives a new way to organize all Spotify music similar to how iTunes does.

Favorite way to listen to my music
I use plum every day. I have done so for the past few months. The developer has been continuing to improve an already useful app. Happy with the purchase and looking forward to where it goes from here. Show more

    My favorite music app
I’ve researched a lot of music apps and this one fits my preferences best. Highlights: Colorized artist/album/now playing views, the ability to add custom artist art, and the theme colors make music-listening a visually engaging experience. The favorites tab is extremely useful—you can add specific playlists, artists, albums, and even songs. The heart icon makes it easy to add to that favorites tab. The queue builder is solid. You also have the option to play now or add next or add to end of queue just by clicking the song. It has lyrics support which is easy to access from the now playing menu. The option to auto-fetch artist and album info adds context to my music that I hadn’t known before—didn’t realize so many of my faves were from Scandinavian countries! It doesn’t have Home Screen widgets but it does have widgets for everything else. There are sorting options such as release year, alphabetical, etc. Not really relevant to me because I just use iTunes, but it also has lastfm and Spotify support. One thing I’d like to see is custom default sorting preferences. For example, whenever I’m in artist view, I’d like the albums to be listed by release year automatically. Show more
