    Won’t Refund.
File import in description is vague. It didn’t do what I needed it to so I submitted for a refund. It was then denied even after explaining why I do not need the app. Show more

    Automatic custom instruments!
Great tool. Easy and intuitive to use. Helpful manual on developer site. Like having Sample Robot for iOS. Just a few on screen settings then it automatically records a source instrument and slices the recording into samples conveniently named based on your settings. Can use the samples in any appropriate sampler, or use the automatically generated instrument pre-set in samplers with SFZ support. Or convert the SFZ preset to SF2 soundfonts or other format with an appropriate tool. It also generates the sequence for the source instrument to play when making the sample recording. The handy, generated midi sequence and SFZ instrument definition preset files can be reused anywhere. Records plug-in instruments and external gear. Also has an audio file import feature to record from inter-app audio or any other sources. Show more

    Such a Great Tool!
Thank you for this! NOTE: If you could add .exs, .sf2, and maybe check the compatibility of Synthjacker sample files with other applications that would be awesome. I get a echo with .sfz files, the played sequence repeats. Also, sustain for drum samples doesn’t always work. Drum samples must be able to sustain and overlap. Show more

Where is the developer? Need manual and more tutorials.
Website says a new server is coming, that was in April! Where is the PDF manual? Seems like all communication stopped, once the app was released? This is a pretty cool app that I see could save time when sampling synths, etc. But just putting files into a folder isn’t enough for me to use this effectively. I would like to know HOW to import these into various samplers (like Nano Studio, Cubasis, Chameleon, etc.) and advice on making velocity layers, etc? The average musician will probably share some of my frustration and confusion on exactly how to get the most from this app without some help. Will update my review if anything changes. Show more

    Sampling made easy
I used to sample the hard, tedious way until I found out about this. It is perfect for creating your own Obsidian Patches in NanoStudio 2. Extremely useful and easy to use. Show more

    Auto-Sample in IOS! Finally!
Solid improvements to make this so useful to feed AudioLayer, NS2 and more. I pick any AU app and have a clone of a preset in minutes in Audiolayer using the Name-Velocity-Note naming scheme (not SFZ). Up to 5 second samples with 5 Layers are good for me to simulate the Pianos, flutes, strings, etc. I ran 9 Audiolayers using these instruments and could never have run 9 of the original Apps without crashing my DAW. There’s some cool updates with Noise Floor, Normalize and I expect more to be coming as the developer finds potential users to capture. I also used my Presonus audio interface to loop back the MIDI and audio and make sample sets of IAA Apps and an external Casio Synth too. It’s great to do this without needing a Mac or PC. IOS comes into the make your own samples age. Too cool for words and priced to return a lot to the buyer. Show more

    Works like it says
Great utility app. Good accessory to virsyn AudioLayer. With the default file naming option I am able to record and import batches of samples into AudioLayer, and the auto map by file name gets the root note correct. Pretty handy. Show more
