Just got done with transcoding 100GB music library from WMA to MP3. It completed the job flawlessly. Love the tag editor too.

1. Handles all important formats 2. Handles Cue files 3. Has a decent interface. This could be improved, but it's totally useable. One flaw is that if the a flac file has already been split into tracks, but there's a cue file present, this app will make a total mess of the tags. So be sure to delete all redundant cue files. Anytime I open the app and convert a file. When I close out the progress window, it always asks if i would like to close the progress window. When I hit do not show this message again, it only doesnt show it again while the app is still running. If I restart the app, the "close progress window" popup comes back Show more

So far it has worked with everything I've thrown at it. It really is pretty quick and versatile. I am not a fan of the multiple windows though. One app window, one general-settings window and a progress window. Personally I like one window split in half, left side for what your inputting, right side for output. Show more

This product is a quality audio converter.

Amazingly fast, stable, reliable, a lot of music files to choose in converting. Easy to understand tutorials and friendly user. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I needed this as Catalina took my prior version of other software. This is one step above basic at best. Necessary but not worth it.

I've used several audio converters and this one tops them all. The batch functionality is impressive, converting everything you throw at it. Set it and forget it. I just finished a batch of nearly 9,000 files that completed without incident. This app is the one to have if you're serious about audio. Oversampling of lower bitrates ensures you get every bit of sound contained in the source. An amazing app that I wish I would have found sooner. I may have to try the Tag Editor now. I thought that I'd save a few bucks and buy a cheaper app, which carshed and crashed and crashed. THIS app has proven to be a much better choice. Works fast, does what it promises. Nice. Show more

I needed a simple converter, and there are several out there, but this seems to be one of the highest rated. I tried their demo (from their website), and it didn't take long for me to make a purchase. I know there are likely to be skeptics, but this really improved the sound of my files. It's almost as if it breathed more life into them. At the least, give it a try and see (or hear, I guess) for yourself. Show more

Been using it for months - then suddenly my iMac died. Fortunately all was backed up. For now (until new iMac arrives) I’m using an ancient laptop. Feared I’d have to guy a new copy though not terribly upset as the price is a bargain. But, no! It was easy to copy from the backup and the temporary computer is working perfectly. Sound as good as ever. I had called this a good buy - now I’ll call it an even better buy! Thanks, team, you have a great product. Show more

Best audio converter ever I have⭐️RECOMMEND IT

I do considerable work with MP3 audio and find the Audio Converter Package The ideal system for what I attempt to accomplish. One addition I would like to see is a direct method of printing from the Tag Editor. Although cutting and pasting to EXCEL isn’t that difficult, direct printing from the Tag Editor on batch jobs would be much easier. Keep up the good work. You definitely have a winner. Show more

I was staring at 235 Wave files that needed converting to mp3 and other formats, then ditch the wave.. this app does it with ‘ONE’ Swipe. set up your preferences, drag an ENTIRE folder, it searches through the folders gets every wave, converts it, tosses it any bin of your choosing and then ditches the old wave file in the trash, (if you want it too). What I thought was going to take me weeks, took me less than an hour!!! I bought it just to say thank you! Show more

This is the fastest app ive used to convert my flac files to aac. I wasted $15 on another App that didnt even allow me to adjust the bit rate and the developer actually said for me to use handbrake. Well, i took a rish with this app and im very impressed. Im impressed with the encoder how detailed and high quality it is, and this thing is incredibly fast, highly recommend! Show more

Great does everything you need money well spent

I downloaded it to my Mac Air, opened it, played with it a bit. Set up was easy. I had ripped 214 CD’s to MWA files and wanted MP3 files. Opened To Audio Converter, Set 3 settings and 6.5 Hr;s later I had MP3 files. Simple. Show more

I have spent some time trying out and using several audio file converters, and this one is by far the quickest and most feature packed utilities I have used yet. I find the user interface a bit odd, but once you have configured it, and see how well it performs, you'll know that it’s a tool that will convert loads of music files in short order. It can be configured to normalize or adjust the sound levels from file to file on the fly, which is a very worth wild feature for most users. It can also help convert and move metadata to. As noted on the vendors WED page, this application takes advantage of multicore processors to boost the performance. I checked this by monitoring the core usage when converting files, and it does take and put each core to work. It also will convert to Apple m4a Lossless format, which some other converters don’t handle. So, at least in my limited experience I find it well worth the price. Show more
