The Spark Amp is the greatest tool for learning new music and practicing that I’ve ever used for playing guitar and learning vocals. Cool app, very cool and versatile. But omg these bugs make the app literally unusable. Glitches with switching between tones, and trying tone cloud tones won’t work. I’ll press the play button on the tone cloud and nothing will happen. Many glitches, when it works, it works well. When it glitches, it’s terrible. Please fix these issues, it’s unacceptable. Just got the amp for Christmas and I love how it connects with the app

I own two Spark 40’S & The Spark Mini with a Foot Controller. If zI am totally honest As far as Foot controllers go , I found one by Air Step that is able to become a looper for your amp which is which I think that Positive Grid ( Should Have Done First ). But after awhile I discovered if you hook them up right… “together “ The Spark can control pedals along with other things so having both is not a bad thing … it’s an awesome thing. The capability of these amps is outrageous especially considering Prices… if you can’t justify $$$$ thousand’s of dollars for some amp that can do all that maybe a little better. I am totally happy with my set - up. Here’s the Kicker, I was able to use my 40 watt Spark at a backyard Party with my Drummer and my Bass player’s without even a microphone to the P.A. System. My son who's been playing piano for 10 years, picked up an acoustic guitar a few months ago. All self taught. He wanted an electric for Christmas. Thinking i'd get him a higher quality axe and go cheap with a sub 100 dollar amp. When i saw this, I was floored. I don't play but was just going through the app and am floored what it can do. It's totally self contained music guided i instruction with relevant music samples. Here's hoping to a life long journey with music! Show more

The features on this amp are amazing. Can’t stop playing with this amp and learning more and more every day. Love it and highly recommend this to anyone learning guitar.

The amp works fine. There’s one problem when I went to upgrade for the newest gear drop the firmware seemed to go well, but I don’t see an update in the App Store for the new apps and pedals. And they didn’t update automatically. It’s not listed and it doesn’t show up on my iPhone spark app. Show more

I was shocked that before I could use this I had to install and run a firmware updater on my Mac, and that in turn installed Python 2 on my Mac. Python 2 is software that reached end of life in 2020 and is not secure. It’s inexcusable for someone to be installing this as a dependency on all their customers machines. I haven’t used the amp yet so can’t comment on it but their software deserves zero stars for this. Show more

Amazing for anyone who love playing guitar or bass. I play an 8 string through it flawlessly.

This app is garbage. It’s so bad it ruined a decent headphone amp. Constantly disconnects from Bluetooth. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I just hope I can get decent money for this now worthless amp to buy something from Boss. Show more

It takes some time, patience and experimentation but I’ve finally generated my own tones that are made from the library of amps and effects. The jam section is okay for practice but not for recording as far as I’m concerned. Show more

Honestly, spark has been the best thing for my practice since rocksmith. Great, great app and amp.

App doesn’t work with iOS 16.0.2. App doesn’t recognize that bluetooth is enable. A shame, the practice amp itself is decent, but is limited without the app.

My amp loses connectivity when playing with other apps like YouTube. Then when I try to reconnect, the other apps like Spotify or YouTube won’t reconnect.
