I played instruments throughout grade school and college and have a decent grasp of my voice and pitch (I took vocal lessons for a year or two). But the first exercise was horrendous. I have a range from E2-B5 (no distortion, vocal fry, screaming, etc.) and submitted that as my range. Although I am vocally between a baritone and a tenor, this app doesn’t consider my voice type and only uses my vocal range to determine what scale I initially begin humming to. With no way to adjust the voice type or scale, I was stuck humming way too high for my chest voice alone. The abrupt switch to my falsetto/head voice (that I haven’t smoothed out yet) led to my pitch falling out of alignment for the last two arpeggios. However, I still expected a decent score. To my shock, I scored an 11/100 after multiple attempts! Maybe I should have put headphones on, but I find it more likely that the grading system for this app is overbearingly strict for what beginners should strive for. I may not have perfect pitch, but my relative pitch and diaphragm support is well-honed from years of musicianship. Why would I bother paying for a subscription when the first exercise that should showcase what I can expect for future exercises was so disappointing? I don’t recommend beginners use this app, much less pay for a subscription, when rudimentary functions present on a digital keyboard are missing. Show more

So I’m not a big fan of this app, at all! I tried and tried for level 2 to pass. Yes to pass. Then I tried to just see what happens when I sing nothing ! So it did the same thing I was doing with the same notes and the thing didn’t pass itself!!! Wow just wow??????????????. So it’s like impossible you know! So uhh ya this app is not my kind. See the thing is like they’re a good warm-ups but it was kinda hard for me you know like because all we had was hearing things like we couldn’t like explain explain it we just heard what we were supposed to do say the humming we just heard the humming and not like the words words to say to help us but overall it’s actuall a good app Show more

I joined it today and my voice is already better it is so much fun I love it.

I’m in eight years old and I have already learned so much from this app I Love singing I and the first day was pretty easy

I am on my first Lesson and I am already in proving definitely recommend for anyone

I downloaded this app, and the exercises help me a LOT, but i’m still on the first one and while I was doing it it had 3 stars and a ? emoji next to it, but every time i FINISH it, it gives me 11 points EVERY TIME and says “Practice, practice practice” even though I was on point. Show more

I like this app but I really think they should work on a few things. 1, the first level was impossible. You had to do all the notes completely PERFECTLY. I spent SO long trying to pass the first level and it was impossible. How are you supposed to pass it? And especially for beginners. My sister is. And how are beginners supposed to pass? I still haven’t passed the first level so matter how hard I try. Pls fix this and make it easier. Especially for beginners. I’m looking forward to delete this app. And this is honestly my opinion and go don’t have to agree with me at all. The app could be so much better. It doesn’t say what key to start at you have to guess. There should be a sliding diagram of what key every note is at on the side. The bird is distracting, why not a less large icon to let you know what note you’re hitting. Everything moves around and you can’t see what notes are coming because it is so closely zoomed in and sliding fast. So close to an amazing product. Show more

I haven’t seen results I haven’t been consistent but I’m so glad I found this app I would give 4 stars but I think what needs to be added is Instead of going just to highest after that go back down because we need to improve both ways. Plus an option in the end to hit if it was too high or too low so it can be adjusted so we don’t strain. My voice hurts after doing just the first day though..I repeat days 1-5 daily cuz if I do each day it gets too high. And I had to go from putting my actual highest note to much lower because it was straining my voice and it would go higher than even my highest note. Show more

So I like the app but it doesn’t work with AirPods. You can only get one star without headphones so you do need them but I don’t have any. My AirPods connect and they work until I click on the exercise then they stop, it doesn’t do that on any other app. If I could use my AirPods I would give it 5 stars. If you do have headphones though I would definitely suggest this app. Show more

This app can’t detect correct pitch for balogne. My lowest chest note is an A1, F1 with fry and it literally will only go down to A2 and most of the time when i try to make it go lower to fix it, it shoots me up to octave 6 and 7. I am sitting in a sound proof room with NO noise. Also, the majority of the “workouts” are extremely high octave that will destroy my vocal chords if I do it long enough. I am a bass singer this app is definitely not suited for me, nor is any others i’ve found. very disappointing. Show more

good idea but broken

This is a bad app all around don’t download it

It’s hard and awkward but I have I good feeling about this app!

I can’t tell what I’m doing wrong but if my screen starts to go dark from being set down, the app freaks out and quits. So I have to keep tapping my screen to keep it awake while I hum. The vocal playback is super de-synced (with and without headphones, Bluetooth and hard wired). So it was near impossible to discern how good I was sounding other than by score. Played around with settings and nothing worked. It was all just so buggy for me. But I loved the concept. Show more
