Exactly what I needed to leave Spotify and quickly enjoy Apple Music

I'm ditching Spotify because of how poorly they pay artists and one of the things that kept me from doing it was that I really like the algorithm-based playlists from Spotify. Apple Music really has a long way to go in that department. Now I can get my spotify generated playlists into the Music app as playlists. It does a fantastic job and it does it very quickly. Great app, saved me from trying to go back and forth with songs and services . KEep the updates up .

App works very well with high accuract of conversion and super fast. I only wish it could also to Apple Music into Spotify.

I have been trying to find some solid music to add to my library and this app has really done a great job at helping me put together new music that I love! I love the feature that not only checks Spotify/YouTube for music you like but it also pulls up other playlists of a lot of other sources for you to checkout as well which really takes a lot of the work out of me scraping the online world to find new stuff out there. Useful playlist transfer app and a nice replacement for online services. Plus it only has a one-time in-app purchase.

PROS: - FAST - VERY ACCURATE - MANUAL SEARCH FOR SONGS NOT FOUND - LIST OF PARTIAL MATCHES TO CHECK CONS: - DOESN'T TRANSFER PLAYLIST ART - REQUIRES BUYING PRO (WORTH IT) - NOT AS POPULAR AS THE APP SHOULD BE I was very pessimistic buying the pro version of this app. To start, I had read about it off of a very small but detailed forum evaluating music transfer apps, so although the testing seemed reliable, you never know these days. On top of that, the app obviously doesn't have a lot of reviews. But let me tell you. I have tried 2 separate services before this and they struggled greatly with just a few playlists of mine, so I really thought I was just out of luck, which is why I didn't have too much faith in this one originally. Then it transferred ~98.5% of my over 5000 song library of playlists from Spotify to Apple Music. Out of the songs it didn't get, about half of them could be found through some searching, while the other half didn't exist on Apple Music unfortunately. All together, it literally took me about half an hour for my extensive library of music to transfer. And to give you an idea of how much of a feat that is... I listen to a great deal of small experimental noise artists. I thought for sure, I would have a hard time transferring over a great deal of those names, but it did it with ease. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR AUDIOPHILES. Show more

Easy as pie to operate.

I am having a lot of trouble downloading music to mp3 format to my mac. Nothing is working.

Great UI but shortcuts are limited to playlists with 300 songs or less even with pro. I have to go through the app to sync a playlist even though it gives you an option to set up a shortcut that will fail? You could set up an automation to sync playlists every day in the background without this limit. Really ruins it for me. Show more

I had been using Tune My Music, but this is way easier. Appreciate the paid version is a good price and not a subscription

Yes - works great - good interface - does what it is suppsoed to - great price - but come on, let me use it a little bit

Great app and well worth the cost of pro. One suggestion I have would to be able to remove songs when they are no longer on the source playlist. I mostly use it to move my discover weekly playlist to Apple Music but it currently appends the new songs to the playlist and doesn’t get rid of the old ones. On one hand, that’s a pretty handy option for keeping all those songs but I’d like to have a cleaner playlist too. Show more

Saved me hundreds of hours of work. Interface is a little klunky, but it’s fast, incredibly accurate, and downright cheap!

I was skeptical, but probably best 2 bucks I’ve ever spent. It succeeded where SongShift failed. I had a Spotify playlist with 139 songs, SS only picked up 67 for some reason. Playlisty got them all. The interface is basic but easy to figure out and pretty easy to see what’s matched, what it guessed at, and what failed so you can fix before transferring. The free version is limited to 20 songs, but it let me analyze the 139 playlist and only asked to go to Pro when I wanted to save it to Apple Music. It worked well for me, that’s all I can say. 1000’s of songs and a dozen+ playlists matched, verified, and transferred in about 30 minutes. Show more

We all know apple music is horrible for discovery of back catalog songs for anything except possibly hip-hop, rap and the latest pop. This not only has a great music match UI and Spotify playlist import but also enables music discovery through other platforms as well. BTW this deserves 5-stars just for the scratchpad which allows lots of variation and options in music matching and playlist importing. So glad I found this! Show more

The only reason I still use Spotify is because I have spent years making playlists that work for me. Apple has finally cleaned up Music enough to where it is tolerable to use. This app allows me to port over all of my playlists. The drawbacks are Music does not have as broad a catalog and so some songs just don’t exist on Music. The porting process is a bit cumbersome and worth the $2 in app fee. Show more

The thinng I misssed the most upon switching from Spotify to Apple Music is the ability to follow artists, and have my favorites influence music recommendations. I figured marking songs by my favorites as "Loved" would be the best alternative — so I really wish that this tool could automatically transfer Spotify likes to Apple Music "loves" — or at least intelligently do this for songs imported in a Spotify Liked Songs playlist. This is a minor quibble, and might not be technically possible. Otherwise, this has mde my transition virtually seamless! Show more
