Just get it! This plugin has incredible sound quality. Fully featured tape delay for iOS. The interface is beautiful also. Cannot go wrong with this company.

Awesome app. I have already used this to create some trippy soundtracks for my own STRANGER THINGS soundtrack. I highly recommend this app if you want to be creative.

Bought this on release and it sounds really nice, but even a single instance is quite taxing on the CPU and that can lead to audio glitches or crashes. Especially worrisome in a live performance. So it doesn’t get used often and ends up getting replaced in most of my projects unfortunately. I’m guessing from the size it’s using IRs, but I hope it can be optimized a bit! Show more

This has become my go to plug-in whenever I want to add character to the sound. This is so much more than a delay. The app is so smartly designed, so beautiful. Super useful, I changes an “ok” tone into amazing one. I love the design of the interface too! A must have for every music producer. Show more

Best 4 bucks I’ve spent in a long time. As someone who comes from every form of tape and analog recording... this app nails it. Simply beautiful... bravo Lucas!

I can’t get it to work with audioshare as an effect. It keeps just monitoring my mic input. Is there a way to change this? I am processing audio files at times and other times I am using audioshare to run samplr and then using the tape delay as an effect. Is there something I am missing. There is no menu option in the app to select the input. Thanks for any help in advance. Show more

Just traded away my minilogue for an xd and was sorely missing the gritty built in delay. This one does a great job of replacing and upgrading the sounds you could get from it, thx! Is there a way to midi assign the knobs and functions that i'm not seeing tho? Show more

This is the tape delay you are looking for. I have the other tape delay apps which have different options than this, but I can’t make any of them sound like this. If you want tape delay - this is the sound you want. Wow & flutter effects are better than any other tape effect app. Doesn’t destroy source audio but warps the delay taps in the way I assumed the other apps would but never quite did. Whatever options the other apps have that are not found here, they tend to make the audio sound muddled, not mangled. I preordered this on the strength of the free DLYM effect this dev offers. If you appreciate the difference in audio quality DLYM has over similar apps then you’ve probably been anticipating any new effects Imaginado had to offer as I have been. Show more

DRC and the totally free DLYM are so great I pre-ordered this without thinking. I'll keep this short and say this delay sounds fantastic and is unique in its sound and functionality (i.e. it's not 'just another delay'). I just turned a bass sequence into a lush pad...ambient music lovers especially should apply. Show more

Love just hope it stays cpu friendly

This is actually the first delay audio unit I have purchased, and I am glad I did. There is quite a bit of control to make anything from basic tempo synced delays to crazy sounding effects. It comes with a fair amount of presets some of which can be quite useful right away. Unfortunately with a few of the presets, there were some pops and clicks so to speak, on this iPad Air 2. Other than that, works great and sounds great. It can easily turn a simple sampled instrument into something beautiful and big sounding. Show more

Seems like it could be awesome. I like this company so I bought it early on. If you use an interface to bring audio in, like a guitar, it accepts unbalanced signals as only one side. So your input comes through one ear, when you use a ping pong delay I hear both sides but dry signal only coming in one ear. Give the option of selecting audio inputs. Tape delay is a guitar standby I should be able to play it with one. Using Audiobus 3- digital pops and clicks as soon as it’s loaded in…. On a 2017 iPad Pro which should run several programs easily. Seems like the bugs aren’t worked out yet…. Update the app to work with Audiobus 3 and select your audio input! Kinda useless in current state. Show more
