The layout/infrastructure of this app is horrible. It can’t even show the tabs correctly when I turn the orientation to landscape. With the money I pay for lessons and the access I get to this app, this app should be working flawlessly. Also, there is no excuse why I shouldn’t be able to print out tabs either. It’s cool that you can get assigned lessons and turn them in like homework to the instructor but other than that the app could go through a refurbishment. Show more

beyond laggy on both pc and mobile, tabs arent correct half the time, totally just a counterintuitive idea in general

Poorly designed app that doesn’t let you listen to the assignment while you playing the exercise and doesn’t send you notifications to to your assignment and tells you to often that your assignment was submitted and the app makes you read music when you’ve been going to school of rock for 6 years then suddenly they give you some app that doesn't work and just assume you know how to read music and they think it will help you when The Beatles didn’t even know how to read music I would give it 0 stars but I can’t so I gave it 1 Show more

At first, I thought that this was a music app, and it was, and it was the greatest music app I have ever seen, I immediately became famous, and started a band that you may or may not have heard of named “The Beatles”. Everything was going great, until the app revealed it’s true motives. It then asked me if I wanted to try out the new “School of Rock Method Premium” feature, and I said yes. For some reason, premium gave me a “Cooking Feature” when I clicked on it, Walter White from Breaking Bad burst through my wall! He taught me everything there is to know about “Cooking” and soon, I was an expert. All was fine and swell, until we got busted by the po po! I barely escaped with my life, and am currently undercover as a certain School of Rock student, and have been since February 2021. Please, whatever you do, PLEASE do not buy School of Rock Method. So after COVID hit each time you get out of the app it signs you off. The zoom in thing problem is that they have a button for you to press in the app to zoom in and out. The last thing is you can’t use the app if you don’t go to school of rock. These problems are easily fixed. I hope you have a better learning experience. Have fun doing your instrument. I use this app pretty frequently since I am a SOR student, and it does the job, but needs some fixes. For one it would be useful to be able to print things. Also, the score is very inaccurate, and could give you a 100 even if you were playing a completely different song or a 40 if you did it perfectly. Another thing is it makes you sign in for some reason. It also is best on iPad rather that iPhone although I don’t know if the majority of people use iPhone or iPad. The last thing is that is the app runs kinda slow overall. Show more

Can’t print. Can’t zoom in on phone. Hardly has any of the songs. Some of the songs only one part works but not the rest.

Doesn’t work on a wide variety of devices. Sometimes doesn’t play exercises with a metronome or the back track which is pretty useless. Unable to submit assignments. Wastes lesson time trying to get things to work. Song transcriptions are wildly inaccurate. There are not enough well known songs. Show more

Great app I’m a student at school of rock and it is a great app.

I have to have this app for School of Rock, because I am a student there. It has a nice design, but very hard to use. Whenever I go into the app, it asks me to sign in again, even though every time I sign in, I press “keep me signed in.” It is hard to figure out how to use, it takes a few days to figure out. There are so many reasons that this app is bad, those are just a few examples. So, if you don’t have to download the app, I wouldn’t recommend this app. Show more

This app is HORRIBLE. It doesn’t even let me watch cocomelon

The bad things about this app is that whenever you have siblings… and for ex: I have a sibling… you have to log out, sign back in, and press your name. Another bad thing is… sometimes it LOADS FOR SOOO LONG and when you finish recording IT. DOESNT. SAVE!!! FIX THAT!!! It also crashes a lot. ~>:( ?????? Ok so I have been a sor student for over 2 years. After being there for a year, I had to sign in to an app. That’s when COVID hit and it was hard to sign in with the virtual stuff going on. I eventually signed in but was logged out after I didn’t use the app for like a year. Now I can’t sign in and everything I’m doing doesn’t work. I can’t get access! This app is amazing when you log in because it gives you free sheet music. But the signing in part is way to confusing. Show more
