Not as good as I thought

I want to be able to use it freely on the iPad pro! And I hope to add simplified Chinese language to the APP.

Doppi was designed to import raw music files from a variety of sources to essentially build a music library from scratch within the app. Presently, the import function is sketchy at best and I never could get the colorful album artwork to function. This app is no longer being developed according to the developer's website. Bugs will be patched but no new features will be added. Sadly, Doppi wasn't the answer for my music library issues and I am looking elsewhere. Show more

This is a pleasantly designed app with a good UI flow. Big problems include: 1) No landscape orientation. 2) With two track album files with embedded cover art and image file in same folder, there’s no consistency with when and in which list view they appear, even after refreashing folder population and deleting and re-adding. (These two reasons are why I requested refund) 3) If you put album folders in Artist folders in the Files app no files will show in app. So, no sub folder organization allowed? 4) None of my files have Album Artist in the ID3 tags but the app auto adds them. This makes info redundant and frustrating. Minor dislikes: 1) Paid icon selection have cookie cutter versions and rather unimaginative. 2) Color theme selection options are limited and basic chalky primary colors. Would be much more appealing if free options were rich and paid option was a color picker on a spectrum. I would probably give the app another shot if the first 2 or 3 problems above were addressed. This app has promise but current issues are disappointing and a deal breaker. Show more

Beautiful, simple, and clever, this app is the best music player on iPhone and shows how the default app could be so so so much better. On maintenance mode but still worth your time to experience as its that good. Show more

I’d like to see two things added to make it more useful at least more me. First adding a timer option and second a way to move songs in the playlists, I don’t see a way to do it without making a new list. Show more

This app is actually pretty decent and I like the ability to customize the interface with different colors but I wish it had last.fm capabilities since I love tracking my music but other than that a decent app! Show more

It could be one of the best music players in the store but it seems that the developer only appreciates positive feedbacks.

Only app I’ve found that is able to play files from the Files app. Well, okay, not the only one, but the other one is ridden with ads and feels like it hasn’t been updated since 2010, so this is the clear winner. If you want to play music files that you legitimately downloaded on the Internet without needing to sync from a PC, this app is a winner. Show more

Im liking the app and music player so far. But would be great if i could transfer these apps to Apple music app so I could play it there.

It’s a good and does everything I need it to do. It is just as good or better than Apple Music app imo.

It didn’t work and was a waste of money.

I really wanted to like this. But the UI is just so clunky and there's so many app-breaking bugs. The one that finally broke me is that the app freezes whenever I try to import a song. That makes it unusable at this point. Show more

But I finally uploaded my 580 songs I had from files. YES!!!

Shame it is only in maintenance mode. At least it is getting updates.

Why update the app if you not fixing it? The app have missing number Tracks as it pass (19) why can’t you spend time to fix it instead send out update not doing nothing. Just fix the app please and thank you. Stop being lazy if you take your app develop serious. Show more

It stops playing every time after two or three songs

$5.99 Tip and plan to repeat this Tip every year as long as it continues to work as well as it does right now. It’s sad it took me so many years to find the perfect app that the Developers are not interested in collecting your personal information. The moment apps change their privacy policies is the moment I always delete them. For me Privacy is worth paying for. Show more
