    So cool and intuitive
Amazing sampler, very intuitive and easy to use. Definitely worth it. I love the synthesizer in combination with the arpeggiator. Highly recommended.

Not worth the effort on an iPhone 12.
Running on iOS is one thing. To be actually usable on it, 95% of the apps fail at..,just like this one. Big disappointment.

Tend to try different things, makes beat making fresh again
This is not my number one go to that would be auxey but I’m so thankful to use it and explore how it influences my workflow, stellar work on this beast of a Groovebox that to me was completely intuitive yet I had never worked on or thought of beats in the exact way this is approaching Rhythm and melody. Amazing Amazing Amazing, But…
Ya NEED to be able to change the color. Just add a light or dark option and this will be the most glorious app ever. This color combo with the flashing of the pads makes me physically feel terrible. I wanna use it but I just can’t. Show more

    My favorite groovebox on iOS.
This is a really great, super immediate groovebox. The parameter sequencing is a ton of fun and the layout is just excellent. It’s not quite the most feature-rich of the grooveboxes on iOS, but for me it’s the most fun, and you get the most for your money. Show more

Almost perfect, but needs a randomizer feature like the play beat
Good day to you. I just want you say that this app is almost the perfect daw for live improvisational music, but its missing one major feature that will make it complete, and that is the option to randomly create beats like the app called “play beat” in the App Store. Please check out that amazing app, and add their randomizer feature as soon as possible. If you can’t add that feature, is it possible to allow play beat to connect to Hypertron so the sounds from play beats can record directly into Hypertron as samples? Please get back in touch as soon as possible, thanks. Thanks for your reply. How do i access the arpeggiator? And how do i allow the recorded sample from mic to be launched as a clip, but stop after i press stop? I noticed that the recorded samples will continue to play even after i press stop. The app i was referring to is called playbeat in the App Store. Show more

    Immediate issue
Don’t know if this was a glitch or what, but as soon as I DL the app I started to mess around and the sample pads wouldn’t activate any sound (wasn’t on mute) but the sounds did come in in the piano roll setting. Any reason for this? Show more

    Paid For Pro
I just paid 5 bucks for the pro version but it doesn’t work. Can’t use any of the features like import export etc. Where is this pro version I paid for and what should I do ? Show more

    Two thumbs up!
What a freakin brilliant, intuitive, simple yet complex little sequencer. I literally had a dope little beat with just what it comes with in the lite version in like 5 mins. I just really dig this interface. It makes sense right away. Prolly gonna get the pro version since it has time stretch. A little curios about that. I hope in the pro version I can bring samples right in from the files app on iOS. Show more

Feedback deleted because it’s not favorable???
This is not a cool practice to remove app feedback when it’s not favorable. If anything, an honest feedback should help in making any product better. The app is supposed to be an instrument but unfortunately is far from it, as if designed by someone who never played any instrument. As said before , while the user interface has a clean and inviting layout, the app misses on some obvious opportunities to make it more user friendly. The pads suggest more direct interaction with them, yet they are basically just slots storing sounds, allow some x/y sound settings tweaking but can’t trigger the stored sound. This is while using a lot of space in the interface. Stored sounds can’t be played by tapping on the pad but have to use a separate play button. The note repeat and beat setting are co-dependent but their interaction with each other is not well thought out. When the note repeat forces increase of steps of the pattern it is not reflected in the numbers shown under the “beat”. It also isn’t immediately obvious and intuitive what is going to happen with the existing notes once the pattern length is decreased. No live pattern inserting other than through note repeat and with somewhat hidden piano keyboard page. Steps can be created live in this mode and the pitch of each step be distinct, but once the step is created you have to navigate away to the main page to remove individual notes, the only option is to remove all notes. There’s no metronome in this app, or maybe I can’t find it. Sure, you could just use one track and quickly put some hi hat steps in it to act as a metronome. Resetting a pattern resets everything and removes assigned sample. There should be a button for clearing just the sequencer steps. There does not seem to be a way to put triplets into the pattern nor any kind of swing/shuffle mode which would help make the pattern sound less mechanical. Samples list has a preview “play” button that is too small so it’s easy to select it instead. When starting a new project there does not seem to be a way to load entire kit into the pads , samples have to be loaded individually which is time consuming. Samples collection is not great but since the app can record its own samples, this is not that big of a deal. Samples recording is probably the only feature that works in a user friendly way, so is sample management. The selection of kits available for purchase is not great either, but hopefully will grow overtime. Overall, a pretty boring sequencer, not innovative and like hundreds of other step sequencers already available. The developer’s attitude is on a defensive side which is always bad and does not promise app improvements. Show more

Bought pro right out of the gate
As a bona fide iOS app addict, ios beta tester (audio, video, audio for ten years) and supporter of ALL apps made with AudioKit I have to say that this app is pretty good. I was teetering on buying the pro version until I threw it on one of my iPads but after using it for about 15 minutes on an iPhone I figured what the hey I’ll just grab it now. So far I’m glad I did. Upon creating a little sequence with the basic drum samples preloaded and throwing in a sample that I liked...I realized that this is pretty easy to use and I like how it handles samples- so far... I think it has room to grow in the effects department though. Other than that top notch. I would totally suggest this to anyone any day of the week.. Fyi-update- if you add a synth sample to one of the pacs then you CAN tweak the effects like CRAZY! It is pretty in depth and totally worth pro. Only thing that is needed is a better tutorial to show off the totally killer synth effects! Woo hoo! Show more

    Good sampler
Hey this is a good sample sequencer. Can you make it so it share the audio session with other apps?
