This is the first digital songbook that I have used and I love it. I have recommended it to many of my friends. With the manager aspect I really appreciate being able to organize and modify as needed through my pc. For my band mates that still use sheet music, I love that I can easily do key changes and print from my device and we all have the same thing in front of us. Highly recommend this app! Show more

As someone who plays both guitar and bass it would be nice to be able to add bass to this app and store everything I need. The ultimate guitar app does offer bass tabs but when searched in SBP it bares no results, why? It’s seems to me that a partnership with UG would increase results and the lessen the limitations it currently has. Show more

Must have for people that want a digital songbook

I am a bass player, guitar player, singer song writer and drummer and I use this app to replace my old song binder. It does everything the old song binder did and much more. I use it for covers and originals and it works for me to always have the lyrics and song structures to play whatever I want. The only thing I wish it would do that it doesn’t is be accessible from different devices. Show more

The app is excellent and intuitive. The only problems I have encountered is when importing songs from sites like Ultimate Guitar. The chords are rarely right, but that is not the fault of the app! Show more

This app is easy to use and it can be tailored to your liking and needs. It works with pedals, you can create set lists, change key, edit lyrics and chords, change background color and font size, export songs to other devices, it has a direct link to a great song search engine, and more. It’s just great and quite reliable. Show more

So thankful for such a great app that is constantly being updated! This does everything I need, to have access to songs, lyrics, tracks, a metronome, and even background pads!?! So great! I use this app everyday for work and personal use. It’s invaluable! I highly recommend it for all musicians, clergy/worship leaders, praise teams, and anyone who wants to learn new songs both sacred and secular. This is really an awesome app. It is well thought out, well designed, clean, and workflow friendly. One of the coolest aspects of this app is that it creates, in real time, an HTTP web client on your desktop using a TCP/UDP port. Most editing can be done on your desktop and it automatically communicates with the iPad app. No software is required on your desktop computer other than a browser. Very well done. Additionally, this app contains a very accurate parsing engine for Microsoft Word documents. which was important to me seeing as how I have hundreds of them. The documents are parsed to ChordPro and require minimal editing in the (Best in class in my opinion) ChordPro editing widget. Essentially, chords that were entered manually on the line above the lyrics in Microsoft Word were very accurately positioned when the word document was parsed into ChordPro. The app has basic MIDI support. I did communicate with the developer who says that more MIDI support is on the way. I am able to send a program change to my beat buddy upon opening the song. I'd like to send a tempo change as well another PC to my Voicelive at that point too, but have not figured out how to do it. In summary, this is an absolutely awesome app. The ChordPro editor alone is worth the price of admission. Show more

Seems to do everything needed for playing alone, band rehearsals and live performance. Only issue I have so far is with the playback option to search and play the current song in the list. Doesn’t seem to connect and search very well. A really nice touch if it works properly. Show more

I used another app that I paid for. When I had to replace my phone I was not able to download and use my previous app. And there was no way to contact them. I had over 200 songs downloaded and customized for me. I started looking for a replacement and stumbled on this one. This does the same as my old but better and does more. The simplicity I can integrate with Ultimate Guitar is absolutely seem less. And this app is free. So far I’ve not found a thing I’d change. Thanks for a great app. Show more

Awesome so far and way better than my old simple notes app for lyrics. I would really like the feature to search websites like genius or azlyrics since I don’t need the chords always. Another improvement I would like to see is the ability to auto sync my iPad with the lyrics on the desktop app. My iPad stays in my bag usually until I gig so I would prefer to just update lyrics on my pc and have it automatically update when I open the app. Show more

I love this software. I love that I am able to takeit across platforms and update from iPhone to a Window’s PC and vice versa. Getting music i to it is super easy and being able to pull from Ultimate Guitar makes it so great; Especially when you need to adjust a few chords here and there ;). Also, creating my set-lists and keeping all of my music organized and ready to go. Printing from the software works great too! I can’t recommend this enough. Such a great value for the cost! Show more
