I keep getting songs, that I’ve excluded by genre, show up in playlists as well as on throwback Thursday recommendations

This app is only useful if you are into music and have a large music library, however, if you have a large library it takes several minutes to launch (if it does at all). It is buggy and only marginally useful. Show more

Never worked. Tried to load, app went to white screen with loading symbol. I want a refun.

“Magic Dj” I was thinking that maybe it actually mixes songs..? Like when its about to change maybe add some beats or words from the Next song???? But no.. ? $5 just for a boring shuffle instead adding some spice and actually make it sound like a DJ.. ??‍♂️ plain old shuffle. Show more

I really enjoy this app and the playlists they give me, but I would really enjoy it if they added a feature that was sort of like the old iTunes Genius feature where it would make a playlist of songs you already have in addition to songs you don’t have in your library. Hopefully that comes in an update at some point but so far I do love this app. Show more

The main function of this app doesn’t get me any better results than just hitting shuffle on my library. The smart curated playlist function is kinda neat but these are hardly better in terms of feeling like a cohesive listening experience. Just feels like shuffle but with some filters like “hasn’t been played for x time” or “belongs to x genre” Show more

Live the concept, but half the time the app opens in a white screen loading and loading till I have to exit it.

This app is frustratingly slow. The playlists and interface are great, but it runs SO SLOWLY. Every time I select a song, there’s at least 15 seconds of waiting for that song to play, even with all the songs already being downloaded to my phone. Because of this the app is sadly unusable. Show more

There’s no crossfade, no blending between the tracks, no nothing. it’s just like any other music player but always on shuffle. This is s ridiculous.

Just read about this and downloaded it to try it out. As I was navigating through the app, I discovered that clicking on the gear icon – which is presumably for settings - causes the app to crash every time. Not a promising start. Show more

It’s such a simple app, but worth the money considering you’re rediscovering all of your favorite songs. I mean when you take paying $10/month for Apple Music into consideration, this is a good app to have since you’ll get more of your money’s worth. EQ adjustment would be a great feature to add down the road btw! Show more

Bought it for my car. Shows promise but lots of bugs. App doesn’t crash but touching track just causes a screen response but no play. Sometimes using apples generic app can be used to force play. I get some very verbose droid message about some sort of CarPlay problem. Never seen a single error message on anything other app so i guess they are doing something half right as the app doesn’t crash Show more

The notion of better generated playlists is how this app drew my attention when I was looking online for third-party Apple Music apps. This app does live up to exactly what it says and does so with a clean, easy interface. However, my experience with Next quickly went downhill as I attempted to alter a setting that would prioritize lesser played songs. The app said it was refreshing my music library, which it then continued to do for the better part of an hour as the app ran in the background with my phone awake. After an hour, I closed the app and reopened it, only to be greeted by a loading wheel, which after another hour led me to believe that it would continue forever if I let it. I reinstalled the app and found the same issues again. Even if this app will run successfully on your phone, paying $4.99 for a glorified shuffle button was only worth it to me because I had leftover gift card funds. As Apple continues to refine and update the functionality of their Music app and Apple Music services, it will be apps like this one that will quickly and increasingly fall into irrelevance. Promising start I hope we see more playlists in different genres and criteria. I also hope it starts updating and rescanning my music library every week or so to shuffle the new stats. Show more

I have a huge music library and it’s hard for me to listen all of my song. I love that this app narrows the music down and love the AI concept. Please keep updating, this is truly a gift to all of us music lovers! Show more

This app is amazing, I love to listen in shuffles and with it I can hear with all my favorite musical genres! I loved ?

I didn’t know what to expect but overall I am so disappointed and a total waste of money! This is not more than the playlists I have created and you can’t do shuffle! I expected so much and was blown away by how bad this is! Show more
