I own SO many music apps but really appreciate the ones that make great use of the touch screen. I somehow overlooked this one for a while but once I found it, it quickly became one of my favorites. Using it for drums creates amazingly wonderful variations and it can do far more than just drums. Highly recommended! Show more

I love this app but there’s one feature I’m not sure if it exists, and it keeps me from buying the full version. Can patterns play back in order on their own, or do I have to trigger each one manually and hope it starts on time? Show more

Love this app! There’s a track on my most recent EP I made entirely in the first version, and this update is even better! Really fun and easy way to get all sorts of interesting patterns and textures flowing and changing. The sequencing and sampling features in this version make it way more robust and fully-fledged for a whole song-making machine in one app. Would really love if the sampler allowed you to select a snippet from an audio file longer than 30secs so you didn’t have to prepare audio in another app, but ce la vie. Definitely worth the upgrade to pro mode regardless. Show more

Cool concept but the app on iPhone really is non functional. Constantly crashing and lagging. Won’t swipe down to activate features behind the sphere, just partially exposes them and refuses to work. Once you exit the sphere, there’s no way of getting back to the main screen unless you exit the app entirely. Show more

I am totally fascinated with the rhythms you can create with this great app. It makes creating complex polyrhythms super easy. You don’t even need to know what a polyrhythm is. You can just jump right in and create amazing stuff. And you are creating these rhythms, the app just helps tremendously, but it is not a genearative type of app. Many great features have been added already since Poly 2 launched a little while ago. It has really great Midi support and interesting, original built-in samples. I really love the mysterious, yet intuitive UI. Developer support is top notch, too. Show more

I am kind of addicted to buying music apps cause they are so much more affordable than traditional desktop software and plu g -ins . The downside is repeating purchase types . They keep developing new similar sequencers , drum machines, generative devices, etc. How many is enough, we all ask. Well, I can’t say that this is the last one you’ll ever need/want but I will say it can do a hell of a lot without being over-whelming . And I hesitated getting the upgrade as I already owned Poly 1 and paId for some upgrades but ....this is worth the full price for the ultimate Poly experience. Get it. Show more

UPDATE: Reached out to the developer regarding my issue. Adjusted buffer size and now it’s silky smooth! 5 stars. Love it! I really like the potential. Biggest issue I’ve found is the distortion when running through AUM. Once that’s resolved I’ll get more use out of it. Show more

Love to make very sparse evolving loops with this one interspersed with something more intense. Excellent app!

Perhaps if this ever gets repaired I can give it more. It’s fixed and beautiful.
