    Awesome!
This app works great for me. It is very simple but it has everything I was looking for in a circle of fifths app, and I looked through many of them. I was looking for one with circle of fifths, the chords in a key signature and the scales notes on a piano. There's room for improvement of course, but it has everything I wanted. Thanks!!! Show more

    WORKS GREAT!!!
This app works just fine for me and I'm using a brand new Mac mini M1. I think the other comments are misleading because the app once installed is at the top of the computer screen. Just click v the music not in the circle and it opens. It does not open when you hit the open button after installing because it's already there. Show more

App does not open. No email provided for support.
This app says it does exactly what I am looking for, but it does not open. Cannot find an email for support. This app needs to be fixed or pulled from the store. Would love for this app to be fixed as I want this functionality. Frustrating. Show more

    Good App BUT
Would rate this app higher if I could choose to show C-sharp as D-flat and F-sharp as G-flat, etc) There is a good reason why "sharp" Major keys are considered theoretical and are generally not used. Look it up! Show more

    Still Does not Open
This App does not open for me. It appears to be a problem at least a year old. I will be happy to re-rate this app once the problem is fixed Show more

Please also include the notes on the staff, as they are played
Nice job. To make this an order of magnitude even more useful, in addition to displaying the piano keys as you play a scale, please also enhance the little staff (which now contains only the key signature) so it displays the notes in standard musical notation, as each note is played. Thanks. Show more

    Does not open
This ap does download, but it does not open. The developer is making a handy bit of change for a nonfunctional ap. the Ap store has not done it’s homework in making sure that this ap works or is approriate for the ap store. I am more than underwhelmed, and wouls like my money refunded. Show more

    Will not launch!
I saw the review from June 1, 2018 stating that the app would not open. So I knew that I was taking a chance. Sadly, it still does not open. I am running macOS Sierra (10.12.6). I cannot say I hate because I have not been able to try it. I do hate that it will not run! So one star for now. Show more

    Very helpful!!!
This app is very helpful, especially when I’m doing timed tests for class. This app could also use a feature that shows the diatonic chords for each scales, as well as pentatonic and blues scales. The app is also missing the Ab minor scales, A# minor scales, Db major scale, D# major scale, E# major scale, Fb major…among many other scales, approximately this app has half of the scales. In spite of these short comings, great app. Show more

Great little reference app! Could use a few more features, but still great!
***Original review*** Historically, I have set my wallpaper to be the circle of fifths so that I can quickly reference it by showing the desktop. This little menu bar application makes it that much easier! A couple of ideas for future development: - Click a key in the circle to hear the scale played back on a piano - Click to hear both Harmonic Minor & Melodic Minor - MIDI thru so that you can click to play the scale and it will play back in your DAW on the armed track (other apps have this and its really convenient!) - Ability to toggle Mixed In Key’s Camelot system over the circle for quick key-to-camelot notation referencing (for DJs / producers) Great app! Would definitely recommend. ------------------------ ***Edit 05/20/16*** Updated to 5 stars from 4 because of a great dev who listens to customers. :) Thanks dev! Thanks to the developer for listening and checking off the first two bullet points I listed above! One other request I would still like to make is the to set a preference for whether or not you want scales displayed with sharps or flats (# or b). I personally like sharps so it is slightly annoying to have to think about it, but of course not a deal breaker by any means. I literally use this app everyday - that’s why. Also: - please make the play button also function as a stop button to stop the scales from playing back. - would it be possible to adjust the playback tempo of the scales? - After auditioning scales, would be super handy to be able to drag out a MIDI clip of the scale with all notes aligned at 1.1.1 for use in DAWs so you can simply nudge them out of the loop bracket and start drawing in notes in the folded scale clip (in Ableton at least). - not sure if this is a bug or not, but the piano sound that plays back seems to have a weird almost distorted sound when each note plays (all scales). It sounds almost like damp white noise.. Show more
