After writing so many songs over the years I started coming to a plateau of songs that sounded similar to past songs. Blocs Wave helps me come up with new ideas that I originally wouldn’t have thought of and is super easy to use. I just wish they had an octave button for the samples; especially the bass. More often than not if the key of song is to low then the bass is too low to even hear. Show more

Took me a minute to be a believer but yeah blocwaves is lightening in a bottle. I have been using it mainly for beats and stems. In which i usually send it over to launchpad for a performance then sending that recording over to garageband to make the track truly mine. But let me tell you. The real joy of blockwaves is the eq and leveling done right there. Set it up proper from the start with warming timbre thru eq and set the decibals so the sounda dont fight each other. Why would producers want to fiddle endlessly at the anxious end of a mix when hallelujah do it right the first time and no worries. I love this app. Its easy to use yet has endless possibilities. I am having too much fun with it.

Easy way to start something of that can be imported into Ableton for further experimentation.

This is one way to organize sound clips for launchpad, but it’s very annoying to use, and importing sounds from Groovebox is more complicated than it should be. These are all apps made by the same so pant and they should work better together. Show more

great to quickly get ideas out. Great to make Launchpad performance tracks. Some glaring gaps. You cant save your favorite loops and sounds. You have to go through a painstaking search each time for your favorite sound. You can’t star your favorite sounds for easily retreival. AI engine that selects samples for you does not do a good job of combing your entire library. It seems to repeat the same loops providing only 4-5 suggestions. The app allows for 6 tracks which is plenty to build a great set. However, you can’t re-arrange the tiles i.e move the melody next to the drums or the base next to percussion. This is extremely annoying. Otherwise, the concept is great. I wish they’d get some real product management going on. Show more

I am a user of some sample packs in blocks wave. I was wondering could there be a way you guys could add the title of the sample to the file once it is transferred to another place. Recently I just got a laptop with fl studio and I plan on buying more sample packs as they come out on blocks wave. I set up my sd card for the samples naming all the files and the files in there. But the problem I’m having is when I want to use the random setting on blocks wave and I’d have to click through to find all the samples. I was just wondering could you set it so instead of the file having “ 127bpm 1-1, 127bpm 1-2” to 127 bpm, then the name of the beat. Show more

This would be a game changer if I can also open on MacOS M1. I rarely use it now because of the limited storage of my iPad. Great potential.

I have Launchpad and was looking for away combine individual instruments from each pack. Now with Bloc Wave I can do that. Thank you

One of the best music apps out there, no creative block can survive while this exists, great sound, awesome packs, wish there was a way to create your own packs for easier organization and filtering, also access to major keys would be great, and maybe a playback of all the scenes without having to jump manually. Anyways that’s just suggestions, I love this app and it’s a great resource for serious music production, scoring is awesome with this, if used with the right tools you can make amazing music here. I use this app to make beats on my iPhone but everyday I get on the app regardless if it’s up to date to the latest version , it somehow makes the import area reset the purchase and makes me have to sign in over and over to continue to import , please fix this problem because it’s so frustrating when trying to upload your sounds and it won’t let you because you have to restart the import process again and again Show more

I had a bug Dat was continuing the project file. Of whatever I did 1st. And this was of Sunday April 03 2022. The bug…. I really did not realize it was a bug!!! Buuuuuut win u start a new file project and the sounds still bleed over in play thru. I just had to stop using this app. I will wait another 2 weeks or more before I use this app again. I really like the concept of this app. And with as many of the sound packs I have bought would be a shame and wasted opportunity if could not use all of those sample loops. I do have a few ideas to help with this bug fix. I will just wait for your company’s direction. ————-—————— Ohhhh p.s. more creative effects I had a hard time finding any in the store library. Please add inter app capabilities , sound library word filter, Stem recording in the app and more export options to record into song mode with in the app or into other compatible apps, Please. These suggestions would put blocs over the top i am very pleased so far. This program has helped me grow and mature as a producer and artist in many areas as far as , song composition structure music theory and strengthening my catalog. thank you keep up the good work. It been transformed into a daft third party content loop player that barely work with audio buss any more. And offer the most important superpower for an iOS device…the ability to HOST anything on the iPad internally without a third party host like AUM or audio buss. So sadly it’s lost it’s usefulness and is of my device until that ( probably never ) happens bye bye ! ☹️? Show more
