Unquestionably, this is the most prolific verbiage reference for lyrical writing purposes on the market currently! It’s exceptional how much value they’ve packed inside this app.

I’ve been using their desktop version for years. If you’re a songwriter, poet, in advertising or just like to have fun rhyming words, Rhyme Genie is a must have! The macOS version of Rhyme Genie beats the pants off MasterWriter, especially since the latter's developer imposed a subscription requirement on users. Besides, Rhyme Genie is vastly more powerful. So I had to glom onto the iOS version for my iPad. Don't waste time thinking about it. If you need a potent rhyming tool, look no further. Rhyme Genie is the hit. It's a brilliant app! Show more

If you write lyrics or poems and looking for rhymes this app is amazing. I have it installed on my iPhone and iPad - as well as my computer and can’t imaging writing lyrics without it. They recently upgraded version - customer support was stellar. I rarely write reviews but this one is worth it on many levels. Show more

I LOVED and used this app a lot for writing my lyrics, but since recent updates, I’m finding it unbearable. It’s very slow and clunky now... all the words (regardless of syllable) appear on one column and it takes many, many minutes of waiting before they’re finally separated into proper columns (sometimes, it doesn’t separate at all). Sometimes the words barely load at all, sometimes the app just outright crashes. Very unstable now... this used to be extremely stable and fast though!! Using a Mini 4, updated to latest, not sure if that has had an effect or influence to the app or its updates. Show more

Just now purchased this app and it’s crashed every time I was using it on iPad Pro. Is there a fix in the works SOON ?

It’s . . . Ok. Some cool features, like the search for first-syllable or consonant rhymes. But, ultimately, it’s sort of all for naught, because there just aren’t that many rhymes included. When I compare perfect rhymes for “go,” for example, with my printed Merriam Webster’s Rhyming Dictionary, the MW has about 5 times as many, including some really obvious ones Rhyme Genie is missing. So I bought the Rhyme Genie app not realizing that I can’t get Tunesmith along with it on my phone. Now I have the app which is just not useful to me without Tunesmith. Is there anything I can do to rectify this situation? Show more

The developer is awesome. Has helped me via email understand some stuff. It shows he actually cares about rhyming and music vs just an app. All I'd say is make it's usage on the iPad feel a bit more solid, like somehow similar to how the apple store looks. The card look, large highly detailed graphics and colors and fonts vs a slight old PC look. Other than that it's an amazing app when it comes to finding sounds and rhymes. Show more

Need a better way to break down the app, like what does each row means. Inside the app, outside of that its cool

I’ve been using the Mac OS version of Rhyme Genie for years and it’s been invaluable in my creative process. Having to update it on the laptop and desktop all the time was getting tedious and then I saw there was a smartphone version! The dictionary comes with me wherever I go now: laptop, desktop, subway, whatever... it means I can keep the creative flow going wherever I am! Show more

I think this is the best rhyming app on the market. I needed to replace the old Mac app "Masterwriter" after it went to an expensive subscription model, and tried everything I could find. Rhyme Genie won the competition, but it takes time to realize all of its powers and features. I recommend reading the info on the developer's website to get familiar with the controls and settings. You can start rhyming immediately, but dig deeper! P.S. I notice that some old negative reviews for previous versions are for installation or "won't run" problems. On some older devices, some apps can be sensitive to how much memory is available when you first install. If you run into such a problem with this (or any app), try this: 1) turn Airport Mode on. 2) turn off any background programs that might be running (hold power button until the "slide to power off" shows up, then release power button and hold the 'home' button until it goes back to home screen). 3) install the app (e.g. Rhyme Genie). After installation, all should be fine and you can run your device as usual. Show more

Perfect for my more complicated poetry but wow on all the bells and whistles I've yet to use! ??

So Rhyme Genie works on iPhone 5s - but TuneSmith does NOT. That's lame...

People say it doesent work on iPhone 6 but I had the requirements and after ten tries of opening it it opened and it was amazing, keep trying and see if it will open 10/10 love this app Show more
