I love KBCS and have been a supporter for years. But the app is often frustrating. It would be nice if it were possible to rewind or fast forward a stream, but I understand why that might not be possible due to copyright licensing restrictions. But it’s really exasperating that it’s not even possible to reliably pause a stream. When I pause for more than a minutes or two, I’m taken back to the start of the program when I resume. I suspect that the app forgets its place if iOS swaps it out of RAM. Developers, please fix this! I really want to like this app as much as I love the station. Show more

Seattle-area, KBCS 91.3 FM is already an amazing (and personal favorite) indie radio station, but the app is equally awesome. Allows me to listen to my favorite shows like Thom Hartmann, and eclectic music mixes whenever and wherever I am. Well done, Devs! Show more

Decent station but it seems like they rarely update the available streams in a correct and timely manner.

I live in the Seattle area, and I consistently enjoy KBCS most of all the local public (or any other) stations.

Not a complaint nor a glitch to report! My only request is they - creators of the app - keep going!!

It will not play the livestream at all. I can play shows from the on demand list, but it usually suddenly cuts out and stops playing after a few songs. Frustrating, because in On Demand I restart, but can’t fast forward to where I was. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but didn’t fix. I note also that KBCS seems to be the ONE station that will not play on Tunein. Please fix or advise on these issues. Show more

I'm grateful to be able to listen to y'all when I'm away from home. Much needed continuity in my life.

I love listening to this station however, it frequently crashes and it takes a long time to load. I am comparing it to other station apps I use on my iPhone. Show more

I have an iPhone SE and this app stops every time my WiFi slows a bit. I have to repeatedly pick up the phone when music stops, wait for the app to reload, then press play. Love the station and Mr Kertzer! Show more

App crashes all the time 5-6 times, sometimes more, within an hour. Constantly have to restart it. Other than that, the radio station is great!

This station offers a great selection of vintage and current country and bluegrass music. I also enjoy the more offbeat shows such as Hawaiian songs with a bit of culture on the side. Alternate political views are also welcome. Show more

Take a listen!

We use the app to listen to KBCS at home and when we travel. We love the varied music programming, and if I miss a favorite show I can go back and listen on my own time. The world needs more radio like KBCS. Show more
