It’s a great app that does exactly what the remote does. But I bought 2 speakers and there is no way to link both at the same time. You have to disconnect and switch to the new one. Would be perfect if you could link 2 or more at once. Show more

Doesn’t work

Tried and tried but not compatible with Samsung Sound bar model HW-KM45C/ZA

Lost the remote for my sound bar and this worked flawlessly as a replacement. All the same buttons, connected right away.

There is no woofer control in the app that is included in the soundbar remote control. Works well but they should really include all the features available on the physical remote. Show more

Basically a menu commands in a GUI. Sad to this app from such a big company.

I love my Yamaha sound bar but the little remote has always been crap. I have to get up and stand right on top of it to change the inputs and control the volume. This app just changed all of that. It instantly connected to my sound bar and I can control everything easily without having to get up now. Not sure why I never thought about looking for an app to fix this earlier. Maybe the bad reviewers don’t have compatible sound bars or there have been some updates. Show more

Never trust an app with 2 stars, it has two stars for a reason! Half of the reviews are also fake, it isn’t compatible with any device it’s completely useless

I have tried for 30 mins to get this app to connect to my sound bar and it just won’t have it

They have user interface looks pretty good. However, it does not work with the ATS 2090. Yamaha, please include this model on future updates.

I really like being able to visually see the current settings that are applied to the soundbar. This makes this soundbar better than comparable models from Sony and Vizio. I also like having icons in the app for different settings because it makes it easy to find what you’re looking for. One thing that can be improved though is the volume slider. Instead of using a traditional slider for the interface control, I would prefer a fatter version like iOS uses for volume control in Control Center. The small slider in the app right now seems like it is too small and makes it feel fiddly. If the volume slider was as fat as the one in Control Center then I could use my thumb to select the volume level. When you use your thumb you don’t want to have to worry about the precision of grabbing the slider handle. Show more

A lot easier than the Yamaha HT Controller app that was before this. Very straightforward to use compared to it. You must have your device paired by Bluetooth with the soundbar in order to control it. Show more

Bought a Yamaha soundbar today and tried the app despite the bad reviews. No problems connecting and controls the soundbar much more accurately from further away than the controller that came with the unit. Show more

I keep getting connection failed. Tried everything, completely useless app.

The iPhone app doesn’t connect. This is a useless app and a worthless product. Will be returning to Costco tomorrow.

Will not pair.
