Good but Can’t Share with Family
I bought this and am happy with it’s performance but I can’t family share it with my other iPad. For $29.99 it should at least be shareable with my other device. Show more

    Fire??
I finally took the time to learn. This is a beast. From making a kit at the push of a button to spending hours twisting buttons to create your own, DrumComputer has it all. It’s made me get rid of others. Thank you. Show more

This drum machine is unlike any I have experienced a harder puzzle
Not as free flowing of plug and play. A user would have to like to crash a lot. To get use to how the mechanics of this drum works. A lot more than watching a few tutorials. Which I did. I got burn out on watching tutorials. Show more

Please add “ ignore mixer settings “ while changing presets !
Good live performance drum synth! Please add “ ignore mixer settings “ while changing presets ! As presets are organized in a kind of similar matter…You can swap between Presets add its patterns real time but it is Imposible to explore during live sets Because of the drastic changes in volume. Please make remix,auto1,auto2 button mappable Thanks Show more

Sound quality lowered to improve cpu performance.
I imported a thick juicy kick and it sounds like an 8 bit kick. Horrible sound quality . All sounds are 8 bit at most. Try it yourself. Import a good sound and hear what they do to it. Horrible. Show more

    Fun and innovative!
Has the perfect balance of options and simplicity to keep me coming back for more. Amazing to use in conjunction with Windows/macOS VST versions as well. A must-have drum machine for electronic beats, no doubt. Show more

    Fun little guy.
Not an all-rounder, but what it does it does well. But the important bit is that its fun and fairly intuative, as such it is well worth the money.

    Having some problems with au3
5 star, because a lot of work has been put into this app. I’ll hit up the support. See if you guys can help.

THE RABBIT HOLE IS DEEP AND WIDE WITH THIS ONE
That being said, it’s got the best of both FM drum sounds and the ability to load your own samples, which can also be tweaked to perfection and/or destruction. In terms of drawbacks I haven’t really had any, but I suppose you might depending on how you use it. Throwing a bunch of AU instances up unto AUM with other midi friends can be help you waste hours and hours without ever becoming bored or convinced you’ve heard it all (because you haven’t). I suppose improvements could be made, but I you’ll have your hands full as is. Show more

Extremely good but very very confusing.
Sugar Bytes became one of my favorite iOS app designers. I first discovered their Factory app, then Aparillo (wow!) and now Drum Computer. I have to say that some features of the app seem unnecessarily complicated. For example, while a quite powerful mod matrix exists where one can assign a source to a destination and amount of the modulation, it isn’t straightforward to control the attack of each engine/kit sound - a very basic and useful setting. In order to do that an envelope needs to be assigned as a source to the “mixer level” or individual levels of each oscillator. However, this has to use one of the 3 envelopes which are already used to control other parameters, there’s no dedicated envelope just for that. In addition, it isn’t clear which envelope is which, they are numbered in the Mod Matrix sources list but not in the user interface (and to make things more confusing, the Envelope 1 in Oscillator one does not have a typical envelope curve graphic so it’s not clear to figure out which one the Env 1 is). The envelopes don’t have typical ADSR adjustments, they are just predefined presets. The way the interface is designed does not aid in understanding the relations between the oscillators and other sections. For example, because the MG1 and MG2 are directly underneath the Osc1 and Osc2 respectively, it creates a belief that they are dedicated to them (especially that MG2 has “Wave” assigned as default to one of the modulation knobs). Another example would be how modulation is presented in the interface: if Wavetable in Osc2 is modulated its wave graphic is animated making it very clear to notice going on. But if “Color” is modulated in Osc3, the graphic which represents it and normally moves left/right does not move, suggesting that it is not modulated. Then if you switch to “Sampler” and modulate start and end points, the graphic is animated. These inconsistencies are quite confusing. The order / priority of signal manipulation also isn’t entirely clear. For example, it is possible to assigns Pitch 2 to be modulated by MG2’s LFO directly in MG2 AND assign the same Pitch 2 parameter to be modulated by MG2 in the 4-knob Source/Destination matrix section while assigning different (and possibly opposite) amounts in each. I hope the user interface undergoes some tweaks which will make it easier to use. I’ll also mention that Sugar Bytes have fantastic support, they solved a small issue I initially had with Factory. Very friendly and helpful! Show more

    Hands down.

Fantastic app with even better support
This is a fantastic drum app. It’s easy enough for beginners, but also incredibly complex with what you and your imagination can do with it. But what’s really sets this apart is the tutorials on how to use it in all its glory (take note app developers). They really dive deep and help you glean as much as you can out of the app. Just a 5 star experience all around from SugarBytes. Show more

    A mad scientist drum lab
I am a Bass player of 27 years who like many others turned solo musician during the lockdowns. I purchased this app to go with all the cool synth apps i acquired. My approach to synths, and drum computer is rudimentary. I can not begin to tell you how cool this app is. You can tweak the different beats and filters to get some wild beats/sounds. when i use This app I get completely lost for hours on end just creating music.I am totally addicted ! Show more

The best drum machine on iOS.
What else is there to say? It’s got it all. Yes it is resource hungry but what do you expect? So many options, such high quality, audio unit, and multi route audio. Give it up for the king. Show more
