Latest update makes it even better!
Classic sounds from a great dev. Must have! Would love to see Tal-Bassline-101 brought to iOS.

One of My Most Used iOS Synths
This port of Tal is absolutely amazing. It sounds great, it’s very lightweight on resources, and has a nice clean ui. Since presets work on both the desktop and iOS version, there are many free and paid patches/patch banks available online, including at the Tal website. Typically those are main things I look for in an AU synth, and Tal ticks all those boxes. I’ve been doing the iOS music thing a long time now and Tal is one of my favorite and most used synth apps. I have recommended it to others many times, and will continue to sing its praises. Recent update added some nice features. Great Stuff. Show more

    Outstanding Juno Emulation
This company has done such nice work on their desktop VSTs. It’s great to see them craft an excellent Juno for the iPad. The patches are on the money, as expected. I really hope they bring their other stuff to iPad. Show more

TAL always makes a great product
Bring over your Jupiter please!!! This is one of the few professional quality applications here. We’re swimming in synths, but most are mediocre. Tal is the real deal. Would love to see new ipad stuff come over from their excellent vst lineup. Show more

    My Juno 60 Patches Replicated
I’m giving TAL’s Juno 60 emulator 5 stars because I was able to replicate patches from my vintage Juno 60. To have my custom Juno 60 patches portable on the iPad is just astounding. Yes, there are minor tonal differences, but considering that I’m working within the limitations of the iPad audio out and, taking into consideration that there’s a certain full round warm quality to the Juno that is not replicable digitally, this app is still astounding. Only thing that could be improved is that the faders jump when starting to move them. A “soft takeover” on the faders is needed instead of a jump. Although’ to be fair, this is what happens on the real thing. It would be a nice feature though. As a vintage Juno 60 owner, I’m blown away. Show more

    Great job guys!
I never had a Juno or follow that many “classic” synths, but I just loved the way this one sounds! I mean it sounds fantastic through my iPad speakers even! The presets this synth comes with are super cool. But unfortunately you can’t save your OWN presets in AUv3 instance. You can use your DAW to save it, but it’ll stay with that particular DAW only. If you use several DAWs how can you share those presets, that’s impossible. You can save presets in standalone version but not in AUv3. A lot of times I edited patches to fit the tracks and I create something nice, not having a way to save it globally is a major flaw in this synth. I have many synths on my iPad and this is the only one that doesn’t have a save functionality. Please consider adding this fundamental function - to save presets! Thanks! Aside from that, it’s a 5-star synth. Excellent sound quality. Show more

    Not compatible with desktop presets
Description says “ The presets are compatible with the desktop version and a lot of preset banks by third party companies are available for this instrument.” Which is not true anymore. The desktop version got delay and reverb. That’s a pretty huge difference when it comes to preset compatibility. Show more

Sounds great but the UI is very laggy
On my iPad Mini 2 the synth runs fine when used as an AU instrument, but the UI is very laggy. Also, how do you rename presets outside of saving a cloned file and renaming it in the Files app? Show more

    Absolute Wow!
I really wish this was available when I started buying synth apps. So easy to use and sound quality for recording is a dream come true. I can’t say enough good about this synth except to say thank you for making it available on iOS. I hope you will develop more for iOS, you obviously know what you are doing! Show more

Great synth, a few workflow problems though :(
Great app and synth! But whenever I try to use external presets that I have saved in the presets folder, they won’t load so I’ll have to manually load in the individual preset. Also, when using the synth as an audio unit in a daw I don’t even see an option to load external presets. If this feature were added in a future update I would definitely end up using this app everyday Show more

Great synth - iOS touch support needs work
The synth itself sounds great. I for sure recommend it. The touch support on iOS is pretty rough. I’ve found that moving sliders up/down doesn’t always move the sliders, I need to drag them left/right. Additionally when tapping on some keyboard keys, the keyboard doesn’t respond to the touch (I’ve noticed this specifically with C2). Using a mouse or using a MIDI controller with this app is the way to go for now. Another great thing to note about this app - being able to download the presents for this synth online and use them in the iOS app is amazing! It really helps get started when you have hundreds of presets to choose from. Show more

    Phenomenal
I’m so happy to see this on iOS. It works beautifully and sounds absolutely amazing. I have both the JU-06 and JU-06a boutiques, and this really gives them a run for their money. And as an auv3 I can play it directly in cubasis without having to connect hardware in. Absolutely delightful. Show more

    Great New (accessible )Juno Synth
Congratulations on your new TAL-U-NO-LX synth application for the iPad! The sounds are great (as is the polyphony!) and make the classic Juno-style sounds very accessible and easy to use and add on all iPad-based DAWs. Excellent recreation of arpeggiator. Massive collection of (free) downloadable patches round this out well. One request would be a larger patch selection drop-down box... to increase accuracy of selecting the right latch first time. I would love to see your other VST’s ported to iPad. Easy decision for every iOS musician. Show more

    Terrific ! ???
Sounds incredible! One thing, please change that ugly keyboard, if i hide it, the UI looks ugly. Whatever i 1005 recommend this synth. ?

This is the one for Juno sounds
After using this on PC, along with a SoundForce SFC-60 controller, I’m glad to see it show up on iOS finally. Would love their chorus and reverb plugins on iOS as well. Use them all the time on PC. Would buy them instantly. First release so 4 stars until any minor bugs are sorted. Great stuff. One of my favorites. The only authentic Juno sound (aside from samples of real Junos) available for ipad. Show more

    SOUNDS FANTASTIC
I initially thought, “Great, another analog synth app...”, but I gave it a try, and I’m glad I did. I had forgotten how great the old Roland stuff sounded. This is a relatively simple synth engine/architecture, but it has a really great sound, a very useful arpeggiator, a great sounding filter, and a beautiful sounding built in chorus. Fantastic synth! Updates have improved dramatically
Good to see full screen and preset menus updated. It’s a great sounding synthesizer. Hope to see more of their fantastic products ported over.

    Finally
First off, a huge thanks to the developer for porting this to over to iOS. I have waited for a fully editable Juno emulation for iPad since I really got serious with iOS music making. Never took the plunge with Syntronik, and you can get Juno-esque vibes with Lorentz, but having the second chorus makes all the difference. There are a few things that bother me about this initial release, though: I wish the full screen was used in standalone to give the faders more travel, the faders are a bit wonky and sometimes go in the opposite direction of your finger, there’s no local patch storage, and as another reviewer pointed out, loading user presets currently doesn’t work. HOWEVER, these issues will likely be fixed in future updates, and they don’t take away from the sound this thing offers. I’m incredibly happy and thankful to now have a legit Juno on iOS. Edit: With the latest update, everything I mentioned previously has been addressed and fixed by the developer, however, the saving and loading of user presets still doesn’t fully work. You can save patches just fine, but you can’t edit a pre-existing patch, and load the saved new patch afterwards. It will only load the original sound. So, when you’re designing patches, you have to start with the “startup” patch every time you want to create a new sound. Not necessarily a huge deal, but something to be mindful of. I’m sure it will be fixed soon. Oh, and a little tip: if the preset browser doesn’t seem to respond, you have to tap, hold, and drag to properly open up the different folders. Show more
