I have problems using newer soundfonts which this app doesn't support very well. The instruments do not sound right. One of these sound fonts is generaluser GS, which has newer programming that this app can't seam to work with. Some other soundfonts don't sound correctly either. The midi notes play correctly but it either uses the wrong instrument or some tracks in the midi file will not play at all using newer soundfonts. Please fix this issue for 5 star rating. Show more

The app is very good I’ve been loving it and using other soundfonts and I love playing around with it. The only problem is after a few minutes, the app will freeze and stop so you will have to restart the app. Please fix that thanks Show more

This is the best minimally designed MIDI Player App that I have used can add a playlist function and the collection file function. It is perfect.

Why can’t I import the wav?

Playlist, as in automatically play the next song in a folder or list, including repeat, shuffle, skipping to next/prev track, etc. Otherwise, great work.

this app is great and all but you should add a feature that allows you to loop midis with your screen off, this is the only thing that annoys me with this app and would change my rating to 5 stars if it gets implemented into the app. thanks Show more

i think it would be good if the soundfonts stayed loaded and if there was a track list of previously played files

When I Use My Soundfont On The Same MIDI VS Using The Same Sounfont On The Samr MIDI On Foobar2000 For PC Some Soundfont Sounds Do Not Play On Here… This Is A Really Major Issue For Many VGM Soundfonts And Complicated MIDI Files… Show more

I been using this player for a good while now, simply put, it does well at what it’s made for but I have one little issue. I decided to purchase the full version of the app so I can make wav files of my midis… But for some reason whenever I tap the button, the app instantly force closes. Now, I do understand that this is unintentional, but if there’s any way to patch this, and / or any true explanation of a fix if it’s a device issue or whatnot, then it would be greatly appreciated, I really enjoy this app and it has served as a great way to listen to my midi music outside of making standalone mp3 files of them physically. Another minor issue is that the “Choose from files” in the soundfont section fails to bring anything up. So I hope there could be a fix for that as well. Show more

This app was great before. However, whenever I try to choose a soundfont from my files (i downloaded this on ipad), it doesnt open up anything. Is this an issue with my device, or with the app? This "simple" MIDI player has many features that more complicated MIDI players lack. The one I found by accident and hardly mentioned in the description was a $5 upgrade option to connect the MIDI output to a compatible Bluetooth device (along apparently with USB MIDI devices too). In my case, I wanted to play MIDIs on my older Yamaha Clavinova CVP-98 with a Yamaha MD-BT01 Bluetooth MIDI interface, and could not find any app to do that until this one, and it works perfectly. The developer is also extremely responsive to questions and suggestions and seems to be actively improving the app and that says a lot. I do wish the app had a playlist feature but the developer is actively working on that for a future version. Show more

Now it won’t let me pick Soundfonts in general. Edit: I figured out that the way to do it has changed.

I also use it to preview MIDI files. It works great. Very easy to use. Absoutely can recommend.

App exceeds expectations, ease of access for additional features like soundfont integration and reverb is perfect
