I can’t remember the last time I ever wrote a review for an app. At least a decade. But this app is so amazing that I just had to. I was compelled to. The vibe compels me! The aesthetics are retro, the music is retro, the feels is retro and it delivers. I only wish we can make a widget out of it! Plus some colors on the app, instead of just b&w. I always try to scour the App Store for very unique apps. This is THE one. I love it. And I can’t see why you won’t. Show more

A CarPlay version of this app would be amazing!!

The music: tasteful. The design: beautiful. The UI: simple in the best of ways. It really does an amazing job of recreating the application of old on your phone. All the stations have a plethora of great tunes to jam to whilst sipping a Pina Colada on the beach, or studying over your notes on a cool fall evening. It warms you up and brightens your day. Plus, no in app purchases or catches. Just simple, free fun. Something that’s hard to come by nowadays. Kudos to all involved in this app, you’ve created a gem. Show more

As another reviewer mentioned, the application has a great retro design, but the player rarely actually works. It's tied to their soundcloud account, and as such depending on who's actively listening, it just won't play anything. In short this is a retro "we'll be right back" simulator. Show more

As someone who is always interested in retro aestetics - this looks great. Reminds me of Winamp Pretty cool music too. All the best to developers!

Vacation, had to get away Vacation, meant to be spent alone

captures that entire retro 80’s vibe and with all the future funk and city pop this is definitely one of my favourite music apps now

This is a spectacular app! Only thing it’s missing, in my mind, is a widget. Poolsuite team, if you’re listening, hook it up!

I use this app all the time on my iPhone, but I am about to uninstall the MacOS version because it won't let you hear more than two songs without asking to sign in. The iPhone app does not have this problem, and I will be sticking to that version from now on. Show more

Great app! Love the retro feel, which the developer has nailed! I noticed one bug in the iOS version. The stop/start command is not working from the inline remote of Apple’s EarPods. Interestingly, this work just fine on the Poolsuite web Player, as well as the native macOS version. Show more

Team, While the iOS and Mac app are providing vacationers with the getaway they so despreately need in their executive sedan or corner office, we must not forget our guests in the lobby... When I enter the app, the songs keep skipping without ever playing any song… Am I doing something wrong?

I love this app. But, when I downloaded it in iPad, the App logo is missing. All of its features are doing good except to the logo that it is not showing on iPad. Show more

The app itself has a nice retro design, is very functional, and when it works, it works great. The problem is that 4 out of 5 times when I open it, no music plays. I get a notice that they've overloaded their soundcloud API and to try again later. No matter how long I leave it open, it never starts. The website seems to work, so usually I just use that. It's a shame, because the app itself is a great throwback to how music players use to look, and I'd like to use it. The problem is that this great app usually just...doesn't. Show more

Have tried it on multiple different networks, and it will never connect. Eventually an alert comes up saying it cannot reach SoundCloud API

Songs still stop after 4 or 5 tracks. The aesthetic is nice but having a functional app is better

Great music - but more importantly those Release Notes, they alone are 5-star worthy!

I really like the aesthetics of the app and the music choices are exceptional. Better than W Hotel app ever was. BUT…listening quickly becomes a frustrating experience because the app stops streaming the playlist after one or two songs requiring me to advance by one or two songs to get the app to play again. Just not a lot of fun to have to keep manually “pushing” the playlist along. It’s really too bad because I think Poolsuite FM is easily 5 Star potential. Show more
