I have been playing the drums at church and at various concert halls for over 35 years and during that time I had felt a little stagnation happening. Once I tried the ODTV app from Orlando Drummer I felt liberated and I learned so much. It got me going again! One awesome feature is the possibility to play with drumless tracks of various genres... it is too much fun! The ONLY thing lacking is a metronome within this app that could help you with your timing during various rudiment-training and such. But all-in-all an AWESOME app and I recommend to everybody, all the time! Show more

I bought this app for the loops. You can honestly find better loops on YouTube - for free.

When I tell you I HATE drum lessons I mean that with everything inside of me lol but the way Adam goes into detail with the lessons and shows you practical applications is worth it’s weight in gold Amazing instructor with a gift, and the app is just the cherry on top. Highly recommended! Show more

Quality content with much to offer

I was about to give up on the online lesson plans based on my experiences with other platforms. Was a bit intimidated when I first saw Adam’s courses. He’s an amazing drummer. But, I finally took the plunge after watching one of his YouTube videos last night and I must say, his app/website is very intuitive, his teaching style is sublime and it’s very easy to follow yet challenging. In other words, I’m loving it. As a film and TV guy, I can really appreciate the production value he has. It’s a great looking site that actually teaches. Thank you! Show more

Adam is a genius. I consider myself a somewhat advanced drummer. There comes a point where you hit a wall. You play the same grooves, the same licks, and playing the drums becomes a weekend job. If you’re a beginner, there is in depth material for you to learn the right way without forming bad habits that you’ll have to break later. If you’re an intermediate, you’ll learn how to refine your skills and play more musically. If you’re an advanced drummer, you’ll learn how to find your voice behind the kit. If you’re a social media drummer, you’ll learn how to improve the quality of your video and audio. If you’re serious about drums, this is your Netflix for drums. No more getting bored of taking lessons from your neighbor who played for a cover band in the 80’s. You’ll be better than that guy 6 months from now. No more searching YouTube and getting discouraged because the drummers are playing things that would get you fired from a gig. Guitar players can’t follow that nonsense, much less your bass player. Will you learn how to do all of all of the sextuplet and 32nd note fills? Yes. Is he going to let you know which ones should be used and which ones should not be used on Sunday morning? Also yes. Try it out. If you think it’s not for you or that you don’t need it, keep playing your same rock groove with the “Pat boon Debbie boon” fill for every song that your band plays. Adam does such a great job of deconstructing and reconstruction these rhythms. I’ve incorporated a lot of his style into my teaching as well.

To Whom it May Concern, I live in a rural area. My choices for quality drum instruction, at this level, is non existent. Adam, is a talented instructor. He explains things clearly and demonstrates his lessons at speeds my brain can cope with. He worked hard to make ODTV a quality product. No more stiff neck pain from staring down at my laptop to catch what Adam is doing. I have my phone resting on the snare and practicing just became a whole lot easier. I love love love this app everyday I’m excited to learn something new from The Orlando Drummer!!! He has a great passion for drums and wants each drummer from beginner to established drummers to thrive and flourish in their talent with drums. Everything on this app has all the stuff that I’ve been wanting to learn ranging from drum fills to triplets. I was a fan of Adam's before I became a paying member from his free youtube videos. He has so many resources and is a fantastic drummer, speaker, musician, and teacher. This app just came out and it did not disappoint at all. Really easy to navigate and looks great, in my opinion. Also, I really love how clean Adam's videos look and sound (never has any "filler" speech like I've found in other instructional vids that makes me wish we could get to the point already),his multi cam angles when necessary, great mixing, and just clean look. I highly recommend, but you should plan on doing a subscription to get everything you can out of it. Show more

I’ve been subscribing to the website for a few months and this is way better. Really increases the value of the membership. Super user friendly app. Much better than using the website especially when accessing from a phone or tablet. All the content is in there. Adam is the man too! Show more
