Still great in 06-2022! Everyone will say they wish it was AUv3 but for me the sounds and features outweigh that issue. The included kits and patterns, automation, FX, and sound generators (including samples and drone) make it really flexible without being overly complicated. Thanks Pascal! Show more

No audio unit but, I knew that before I bought it. I got better results in minutes with this drum machine than any other iOS DM. I own EVERY iOS drum machine to date and this is the best sounding so far. Show more

Excellent drum synth, reminiscent of the synth engines in the Elektron machines but it’s missing the ability to change the pitch of your samples which is a really odd oversight since it’s such a part of the process of using samples in a drum machine. Also the synth engines are nice but there aren’t nearly enough of them. Also I really wish I could use this as a plug-in in iPad DAWs like Drambo, GarageBand etc. I hope you guys add the ability to alter the pitch of samples and add more features moving forward. This in an excellent app and has serious potential. Show more

I love the app, but can you remove the pink bars on the edges? It's super distracting. Or make the app truly full-screen? I know it's petty, but it's bothersome. Lol. Show more

Flawed MIDI. No matter what, it won’t work with certain apps which work perfectly fine with other apps. It won’t send or receive MIDI from DM1 - exactly the same as the other app by the same developer, the DM2. The MIDI page is actually identical, it even says “DM2” instead of “Drum Lab” in it. Can’t load your own samples??? What??? The envelopes don’t re-trigger, if you put two hits of a drum that has long attack one next to the other, only the first one has long attack, the second one has zero attack. When selecting custom sounds for a kit one can’t preview when choosing it from other kits, you have to leave the selection page to do so. Show more

This is an incredible drum synth and drum machine. It has everything you’d want except auv3. However, the sounds and the creative features alone are worth hours in this app. It has all the vintage sounds neatly packed too. I’m having two issues on an iPad Pro 2, sometimes the drum synth will crash and require me to reload the sound. Also an overwrite feature would be great. I’ve learned in this app it’s good to keep saving… however,it’s not ideal having 10 versions of the same file slightly different; I’d prefer to overwrite. Hope this helps. Hello Apple. Are you going to post my review or what? I love Drum Machine but DrumLab is more intuitive and faster to compose with and has more FX. The sounds are clean and crisp. The controls are easy to use. Good context sensitive help. Initially I was disappointed it is IAA instead of AUv3 but their explanation makes sense. The “Song Ambient Noise” is an amazing example of what DrumLab can do (sounds like the sound track FX from the movie ‘The Forbidden Planet’)! I foresee a long relationship starting with this amazing drum machine. A no brainer purchase, especially for the asking price. Show more

Love how deep this app lets you customize every aspect of each sound and automate it. Getting really nice punchy and satifying sounds really fast with this one. I also own DrumComputer by SugarBytes which is amazing too, but if that one is too expensive for you, try this app because you can achieve a whole lot woth this. Only too bad it is not AUv3. An absolute Killer iOS drum machine: great library of classic samples and a very capable drum synth with sequencing, automation and generally effortless UI navigation. The more I use it the more I love it and it was already love at first session. Show more

How bout putting in your app description that it ONLY supports 64bit devices!!!! I just bought your app and even though I'm on iOS 10, I cannot use it. And CANT seem to request a refund!!!! Thanks for the nice splash screen. I shouldn't have even been able to download this. Thanks dude. Show more
